SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Joni McGillis, Elms (Jr.) Junior Joni McGillis posted a first-place and second-place finish for the Blazers at Western New England University as the Katy, Texas native swam a 2:41.57 in the 200 Yard Butterfly to finish as a runner-up and then won the 50 yard freestyle, touching the wall at 27.26. McGillis also was a part of two second-place team relays (Women's 200-Yard Medley Relay - 2:18.60 and Women's 400-Yard Freestyle Relay - 4:13.37). |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Alissa Schettini, Elms (Fr.) First-Year Alissa Schettini posted two individual runner-up finishes as the Pittsfield, Mass. native swam a 2:20.71 in the 200-Yard Freestyle and a 6:23.58 in the 500-Yard Freestyle. She was also a part of two second-place relay teams. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Tiffany Twombly, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Secured two first place finishes in the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 27.74 and the 100 Yard Freestyle (1:00.21).
