SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Carli Quinlan, Simmons (Jr.) Junior Carli Quinlan captured a pair of first place finishes at the annual two-day Seven Sisters Invitational. Competing against the likes of Smith College, Wellesley College, and Mount Holyoke, Quinaln finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:01.51), and the 100-yard freestyle (54.84). In addition, Quinlan captured two second place finishes in the 50-yard fly (27.40) and the 50-yard free (25.67). Additionally, in a dual meet victory over GNAC foes Elms and Regis College, Quinlan earned another two first place finishes in the 200-yard frestyle and the 50-yard butterfly. |

DIVER OF THE WEEK Reilly Laitala, Norwich (Jr.) Junior Reilly Laitala was dominant yet again in diving competition, this time leading the pack in a pair of events at Plymouth State on Saturday. She first logged a 221.70 score in 1-meter diving, over 20 points better than second-place. She then took to 3-meter diving, earning a 221.92 final score. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Chaelin Humphrey, Simmons (Fr.) First-Year Chaelin Humphrey posted a personal-best time at the annual Seven Sisters Invitational in the mile race, 1,650-yard freestyle, touching the wall with a time of 21:15.91 to finish sixth. Additionally, Humphrey swam a top-collegiate time of 30.14 in the 50-yard butterfly, while also clocking a time of 5:56.77 in the 500-yard freestyle. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Brandy Lewis, Norwich - Was the catalyst of Norwich winning 13 of 16 events at Plymouth State on Saturday, racking up the most individual wins of anyone with three. She first posted a 2:28.41 in the 200-yard IM, followed by a 5:46.73 in the 500-yard freestyle. She earned her third solo victory by touching the wall in 1:09.50 in the 100-yard IM. She closed her day with a relay victory as the first-leg swimmer in the 200-yard freestyle relay, as the team finished in 1:49.61.
Olivia Luhnau, Regis - Dominated the backstroke and individual medley events, taking first in the 100yd backstroke (1:09.16) and 100yd IM (1:04.26). She also secured second place in the 100yd freestyle (1:00.16).
Tiffany Twombly, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Won three events for the Monks in the 100 IM, 50 breaststroke, and 400 IM. She set the pool record in the 400 IM. She also anchored the winning 200 Freestyle Relay team.
