SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Olivia Luhnau, Regis (Sr.) Senior Olivia Luhnau led the Pride to dual victories over Saint Joseph's (Maine) and UMass Dartmouth Friday night (Nov. 8) with three individual wins along with a relay victory. After helping Regis's 200 medley relay squad to a two-second victory, Luhnau picked up three individual victories, touching the wall first in the 50 breaststroke in a season-best 34.02 seconds, the 100 breaststroke in 1:15.70, a season-best time by two seconds, and the 100 individual medley in 1:07.88, yet another season-best mark for the senior captain. |

DIVER OF THE WEEK Reilly Laitala, Norwich (Jr.) Junior Reilly Laitala had another impressive weekend in diving competition, this time in Norwich's win over Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday (Nov. 9). She opened up her day by posting a 212.15 effort in the 1 meter diving optional, topping second place by over 13 points to claim first place. She then closed her day by tallying a 160.75 score in the 1 meter diving voluntary 1M, coasting past her closest competitor by over eight points. Laitala's efforts earned Norwich two of their 13 victories on the day. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Kali Taylor, Regis (Fr.) First-year Kali Taylor was part of a relay victory plus won three individual events in the Pride's double-dual meet victory Friday night. Taylor's 50 free split of 26.55 seconds anchored the Pride's two-second victory in the 200 medley relay with an overall time of 2:06.71. Taylor won three individual events, starting with the 200 freestyle (2:08.26). Then, she earned a victory in the 50 freestyle with a season-best time of 27.17 seconds and followed that up in the 500 freestyle in 5:52.92, also a season-best mark. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Brandy Lewis, Norwich - Won the 200 freestyle (2:06.91), the 500 freestyle (5:46.17), and the 200 IM (2:29.12) for the Cadets. Swam the final leg of the first-place 400 freestyle relay team.
Maria Piekarczyk, Norwich - Swam the legs of two-first place finishing relay teams for the Cadets. Picked up two individual victories as well in the 200 butterfly on a 2:43.26 time and the 100 butterfly (1:09.78).
Kiley Matthews, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - First in 100 yard free, was a member of the first place 200 yard free relay team.
Cheri Williams, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Second in the 1000 Yard Free, First in the 50 yard fly, and was on the first place 200 yard relay team.
Hailey Stuck, Simmons - Finished second in the free (26.01) and third in the 100 free (57.15) vs. Merrimack and Wellesley College swimmers.
