GNAC Softball Report: Week 3
Emmanuel's Kiana Hinson and Jadynne Hill took home the Week 3 GNAC Player and Rookie of the Week accolades following the Saints' 2-0 week.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Kiana Hinson, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Jr, 2B/P - Whittier, Calif.) - Hinson was 5-for-8 with a double, a home run, two runs and four RBI for a 1.750 OPS in a doubleheader sweep over Norwich. |

CO-PITCHER OF THE WEEK Zoe Coleman, Dean (So., P/OF - Warwick, R.I.) - Coleman earned a complete-game victory to help the Bulldogs earn a 5-2 win over Rivier in the program's first game of the season, first as a member of the GNAC and first as an official member of Division III. She allowed just two runs on eight hits and struck out two. Coleman also added a hit, a walk and a run scored at the plate in the win. |

CO-PITCHER OF THE WEEK Sydney Hatch, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sophomore, P - Newburgh, Maine) - Hatch spun a gem in a 6-2 win over Bates College on Wednesday, as the second-year starting pitcher allowed two unearned runs off four hits with four strikeouts in seven innings. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jadynne Hill, Emmanuel (Mass.) (So, UTL - Haverhill, Mass.) - Hill slashed .750/.833/1.750 in a doubleheader sweep against Norwich, going 3-for-4 with a double, homer, three runs and three RBI. Her round-tripper put EC ahead 6-5 in Game 2 versus the Cadets. |

Zoe Coleman, Dean (So., P/OF - Warwick, R.I.) - Coleman earned a complete-game victory to help the Bulldogs earn a 5-2 win over Rivier in the program's first game of the season, first as a member of the GNAC, and first as an official member of Division III. She allowed just two runs on eight hits and struck out two. Coleman also added a hit, a walk and a run scored at the plate in the win.
Alex Marie, Dean (So., IF - Danvers, Mass.) - Marie went 3-for-6 in a 1-1 weekend for the Bulldogs. All three of her hits were doubles to lead to a 1.000 slugging %. She added a couple of RBI and scored three times. In the team's first game of the season, first as a member of the GNAC and first as an official member of Division III, Marie helped the Bulldogs defeat Rivier 5-2 with a pair of doubles, two runs and an RBI.
Megan Long, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr, P/OF - Greenfield, RI) - Long went the distance in a complete-game 8-3 win over Norwich, striking out 10 while allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks.
Bailey Rassol, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Junior, C - Rehoboth, Mass.) - Rassol was 4-8 with a run and two RBI in a sweep over Bates College on Wednesday.
