PLAYER OF THE WEEK Rubelsi Moran, Anna Maria (Sr., F) Senior forward Rubelsi Moran earns back to back Player of the Week Honors after scoring all four of Anna Maria's goals this past week and helping the team go 2-0 in conference play. On Tuesday (Oct. 1) against Colby-Sawyer, Moran notched a hat trick which lifted the Amcats over the Chargers 3-2. On Saturday (Oct. 5) against New England College, he netted the lone goal of the game which was a penalty kick to lift the Amcats over the Pilgrims. Moran totaled eight points on the week. After week six, Moran leads the GNAC in goals (10), points (21), and game winning goals (4). |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Hayden Walker, New England College (Sr., GK) Senior goalkeeper Hayden Walker delivered a standout performance for the Pilgrims in their 0-0 draw against defending GNAC champions Johnson & Wales. On Wednesday night (Oct. 2), Walker played the full 90 minutes in goal, recording 11 saves, including four crucial stops in the final eight minutes to preserve the shutout. This marked only the second time all season Johnson & Wales was held scoreless and was Walker's third shutout of the season. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Benjamin Anderson, Emmanuel (Fy., F) Saints rookie forward Benjamin Anderson played a pivotal role in both games this past week, helping the Saints go 1-0-1 in conference play. On Tuesday (Oct. 1), Anderson scored the crucial game-tying goal in the 58th minute, securing a 1-1 draw against Lasell. Then,on Saturday (Oct. 5), he delivered the game-winning assist in the Saints' 2-1 victory over Elms College. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Valter Santiago, Anna Maria - Tallied 17 saves while allowing only two goals in 135 minutes of play this past week, helping the Amcats go 2-0. In a 3-2 win over Colby-Sawyer, he made 13 saves while conceding two goals. He followed that up with a first-half shutout against New England College, recording four saves. He finished the week with an impressive .895 save percentage.
Henry McGarrah V, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Had a notable week, contributing three goals and two assists as the Blue Jays went 2-0 in conference play. He registered a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over Dean, followed by two goals and another assist in a commanding 4-0 win against Colby-Sawyer.
Will Slayton, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - First-year goalkeeper Will Slayton got the start in net for the Blue Jays against Dean College, where the he recorded eight saves and secured a clean sheet in the 3-0 victory.
Rion Dos Santos, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Senior midfielder Rion Dos Santos played a pivotal role in the Monks' 2-0 victory over Mitchell College, contributing to both goals. He assisted on the first goal from a corner kick to give the Monks a 1-0 lead and then sealed the win by converting a free kick opportunity with 14 minutes left to play.
