PLAYER OF THE WEEK Ryan Quinn, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Jr., OF) Junior Ryan Quinn put together a standout week at the plate for the Blue Jays, hitting .643 (9-for-14) across three games as the team went 2-1 on the week. Quinn posted a .643 on-base percentage and a .786 slugging percentage while recording multi-hit performances in all three contests. He kicked off the week by going 2-for-5 with an RBI in a tight 8-7 win over Western New England University (Apr. 22). The following day, he went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored in a 14-1 victory over Colby-Sawyer (Apr. 23). Quinn stayed locked in at the plate against Clark University (Apr. 25), finishing 4-for-5 with another double, an RBI, and one run scored to cap off his dominant week. |

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Owen Sullivan, Anna Maria (So., P) Sophomore Owen Sullivan put together a strong week on the mound for the Amcats, going 2-0 with wins over both Norwich and Lasell. In 15 total innings pitched, Sullivan tallied 21 strikeouts and posted a 3.00 ERA. He started off the week by throwing six innings in a 13-8 win over Norwich (Apr. 22), recording eight strikeouts and allowing just one earned run. Later in the week, he delivered a complete-game performance in a close 5-4 win over Lasell (Apr. 26), striking out 13 batters over nine innings to close out his impressive week. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Nic Frink, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr., C) First-year catcher Nic Frink repeats as this weeks Rookie of the Week after turning in another strong performance at the plate for the Monks. Across six games, Frink hit .435 (10-for-23) with a .519 on-base percentage and a .696 slugging percentage, helping lead the team to a 5-1 record. He drove in nine runs on the week, collecting a double, a triple, and launching his eighth home run of the season in their game vs. Southern Maine (Apr. 21). |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Jonathan Guardascione, Anna Maria - Batted .500 this past week going 6-for-12 in a 2-2 week for the Amcats. He recorded a double, a homerun, and six RBIs. His best performance came in a 13-8 win over Norwich where he went 3-for-3 with a homerun and 4 RBIs.
Josh Batchelder, Anna Maria - Notched his first homerun of the season against #13 Salve Regina. Went 7-for-16 on the week with four RBIs and three runs scored.
Aidan Vining, Johnson & Wales (RI) - Improved to 7-0 on the season after a 9-2 victory over Lasell. In 7.1 innings pitched, he struck out nine batters and allowed just two runs.
Owen Davis, Johnson & Wales (RI) - Batted .409 with nine hits on 22 at bats. Notched two homeruns and had 8 RBIs on the week. He also had two doubles and scored six runs.
Tim Callahan, Lasell - Went 9-of-21 posting a .429 batting average this past week. He had two doubles and also scored eight runs.
Eddie Kaftan, Mitchell - In his one start of the week, he pitched five innings, striking out five batters, allowing just one hit, and did not issue a single walk in a 15-2 win over Elms.
Michael Ficocelli, Mitchell - Posted a .526 batting average on the week going 10-for-19 with four doubles, five RBIs and five runs scored. He also had three multi-hit games.
Ryan Dennis, Mitchell - The rookie went 8-for-18 posting a .444 batting average, with a double, three RBIs, eight runs scored, and seven stolen bases.
Padraig Mac Seain, Saint Joseph's (Me.) - Recorded one win and one save pitching 7.1 innings, where he struck out 13 batters, allowed just four hits, and did not give up a single run.
Jack Kane, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - The first-year went 5-for-10 at the plate (batting .500) and recorded a double, 5 RBIs, and one stolen base.
