Top finishes for Regis lands a pair on the weekly accolade list.

MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Daniel LaFlamme, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., Watertown, Conn.) LaFlamme led the Regis throwers at the Snowflake Classic, hosted by Tufts University Saturday. He finished fourth in the shot put with a top mark of 13.12 meters (43' 0.5"), an outdoor collegiate best mark for the senior. He also finished 13th in the discus throw with a mark of 33.91 meters (111' 3") and 21st in the hammer throw at 35.83 meters (117' 7"). |

WOMEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Fatima St. Hilaire, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., Dorchester, Mass.) St. Hilaire started the 2019 outdoor season the same way she ended the 2018 campaign: among the leaders. At the Snowflake Classic hosted by Tufts University Saturday, she won the long jump with a top mark of 5.53 meters (18' 1.75"), seven inches further than the second place finisher. She broke the school record in the 100 meter dash with a preliminary time of 12.78 seconds, and then she finished fourth in the event final in 12.98 seconds. St. Hilaire qualified for the Division III New England Championships in both events with those performances. |

MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Matyas Csiki-Fejer, Suffolk (Fr. - St. Louis, Mo.) Csiki-Fejer who has stand-out accomplishments in each season – cross country and indoor track & Field – punched his ticket to the regional tournament in the 1500 meter. The Saint Louis, Mo. native clocked in at 4:00.15, good enough for third place in the event, in a field of 57, fifth best in New England and 32nd across Division III. |

WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Dori LeMoine, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Fr., Swan's Island, Maine) LeMoine shattered the Monks' outdoor records in the shot put (9.90m) and hammer throw (29.37) events in the UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. |
WEEK 2 HONOR ROLL
Michael Bullen, Colby-Sawyer (Jr., Franklin, Mass.) - Bullen turned in a couple of solid performances at Saturday's Snowflake Classic hosted by Tufts. Bullen led the team in the javelin with a ninth place showing out of 37 competitors. He achieved a distance of 48.69 meters. He also finished 23rd in the long jump with a distance of 5.66m.
Jacob Nichol, Colby-Sawyer (Fr., Concord, N.H.) - Nichol had a great debut in the 400-meter dash on Saturday at the very competitive Snowflake Classic hosted by Tufts. He placed ninth in a time of 1:00.82. He was also 13th out of 22 in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.70.
Luke Elson, Emmanuel (Fr., Ashway, R.I.) - Ran well at the Tufts Snowflake Classic, competing in the 100m, 200m, 4x100, 4x400 events. The rookie finished the 100m race in 11.84 seconds and the 200m in 24.43 seconds and helped the Saints post top-10 finishes in both relay events.
Hannah Fitzpatrick, Emmanuel (Fr., Revere, Mass.) - Ran the 1,500m race in 5:05.77 for a 20th place finish at the Tufts Snowflake Classic and then finished 24th in the 800m race with a time of 2:27.63.
Trevor Hajj, Emmanuel (So., Gilmanton, N.H.) - Hajj finished 10th overall in the 400m hurdles at the Tufts Snowflake Classic with a time of 1:01.75 and also ran in the Saints 4x100m relay team that finished eighth at the meet.
Jacquelyn Schneider, Emmanuel (Jr., Wemouth, Mass.) - Finished 17th in the 400m hurdles at the Tufts Snowflake Classic with a time of 1:15.34. Ran well in the relay event for the Saints, helping Emmanuel finish 11th in the 4x400m race and. Finished 19th in the Javelin with a toss of 28.56 meters, 26th in the long jump with a leap of 4.12 meters
Ben Lane, Lasell (Sr., Rutland, Vt.) - Lane had another strong day of racing at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic. He placed seventh out of 80 sprinters in the 200 meters with a time of 23.54 seconds, and finished 10th out of 61 in the 100 meters in a time of 11.69 seconds.
Alahna Mild, Lasell (Fr., Bar Harbor, Maine) - Mild had a strong performance in two sprint events at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic. She placed 35th in a field of 73 sprinters in the 100 meter dash with a time of 14.33 seconds, and she also took 38th out of 65 in the 200 meters in 31.36 seconds.
Ashleigh Kelley, Regis (Mass.) (Fr., Stoneham, Mass.) - Kelley broke the school record in the 5000 meter run at the Snowflake Classic Saturday at Tufts University. She finished 13th overall in the event with a time of 19:14.15, over 11 seconds faster than the previous record set almost two years ago to the day (April 2, 2017). It was also over one minute quicker than the time she posted just four months ago at the start of the indoor season.
Nicholas Pastore, Regis (Mass.) (Fr., Norwood, Mass.) - Pastore continues to be a major contributor to the Pride track and field team in his first collegiate year. At the Snowflake Classic at Tufts Saturday, he finished 20th in the 100 meter dash with a season-best time of 11.66 seconds. He also finished 22nd in the long jump with a top mark of 5.68 meters (18' 7.75"), accomplished on his final attempt of the day, and 31st in the 200 meter dash in 24.63 seconds.
Troy Hendricks, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Fr., Hiram, Maine) - Hendricks finished sixth in the 3000-Meter steeplechase with a program-record 10:35.85 time in the UMass.-Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.
Michael Balestra, Suffolk (Fr., Lincoln, R.I.) - Balestra sealed up his spot at New England's in the hammer throw, the first-ever Ram to qualify across indoor and outdoor track & field in the event. The freshman from Lincoln, Rhode Island, finished second out of 31 competitors behind a toss of 45.76 meters, the fifth-best throw in the region in 2019.
Mariama Kamara, Suffolk (Jr., Chelsea, Mass.) - Kamara was the standout performer for Suffolk as the junior finished 13th in the field of 49 competitors in the 100-meter dash after clocking in 13.15.
