SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Cody Werner, Regis (Jr.) Junior Cody Werner put up a couple of first-place finishes for the Pride in the Regis Invitational this past weekend. Werner clinched first in the 50 yard butterfly at 24.82 on Friday night. Werner earned another first place finish in the 200-yard butterfly finishing at 2:02.84 but didn't stop there. In addition to his multiple first-place finishes, Werner broke the 400-yard Individual Medley pool record while earning a new personal best, finishing with a time of 4:24.53. The previous record was set in 2021 with a time of 4:26.23. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Aiden Hebb, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Fr.) First-year Aiden Hebb broke three program freshman records at the Jayden Szkirka Memorial Championships, setting new marks in the 200 IM, 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke. Finished 31st in the 100 breaststroke, recording a time of 1:02.50, while finishing 20th in the 200 breaststroke, tallying a time of 2:16.17. Hebb placed 26th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.39 to cap off his week. |
