Two-day stroke play championship
Rules
The championship will be played under the USGA Rules of Golf.
An official roster including name, hometown, year of graduation, and honors must be submitted to the Championship Director prior to the start of the event.
- Rosters may include five (5) golfers.
- Five (5) players competing will be designated one (1) hour prior to the championship.
- The GNAC Championship will adhere to NCAA Championship guidelines for tiebreaks (Adopted October 2008). In the event of a first-place tie, the two programs may go to a sudden-death tiebreak to decide the winner. A three-person committee (GNAC representative, host school administrator, golf pro) shall determine if enough daylight is left to administer the sudden-death tiebreak.
- If one day of the two-day championship tournament is a rained out, then an 18-hole match will be sufficient to determine champion. (Adopted November 2009)
Upon completion of the round, all golfers should proceed directly to the designated scoring area to sign and submit scorecards.
