Runner Of The Week
Leah O'Neill, Colby-Sawyer (Sr.)
O'Neill was the best runner for the Chargers this week after smashing her previous 6k personal best by over a minute and a half. She would lead the Chargers to a 12th place finish as a team against the best teams in the Northeast as she crossed the line in 24:21.
Rookie Of The Week
Jacklyn Anderson, Colby-Sawyer (Fr.)
Freshman Jacklyn Anderson would debut and help the Chargers finish with a 12th place finish, just 29 points behind East Conn. Jacklyn would cross the line in 24:46 for Colby-Sawyer at the Wesleyan Invitational.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Althea LeBlanc, New England College - At the 57th annual Codfish Bowl, LeBlanc ran the 5k race in 21:04 - finishing in 69th place.
Delaney Whitmarsh, Norwich - Whitmarsh helped the Cadets finish 6th at the Hoffman Invitational with a time of 25:28.9.
Amber Pendleton, Saint Joseph (Me.) - Pendleton placed 58th with a time of 25:07 in her 6K college debut.
