Player and Rookie Of The Week
Eva Catalanotto, Regis (Fr.)
Freshman Eva Catalanotto delivered a dominant all-around performance to lead Regis to a perfect 3-0 week. The junior standout tallied 33 kills (2.75 per set) on a .415 hitting percentage, along with 11 total blocks, 6 aces, and 10 digs across 12 sets of play. Her week was highlighted by a 13-kill, .500 hitting performance against Colby-Sawyer, where she also added 17 assists and 4 blocks. Catalanotto averaged 3.9 points per set, powering the Pride on both sides of the net.
Libero Of The Week
Scheala Nielsen, Emmanuel (Jr.)
Junior Scheala Nielsen anchored the back row for the Saints this week, leading the defensive effort in a pair of GNAC victories. Across eight sets, she totaled 43 digs (5.38 per set) while maintaining an impressive .941 reception percentage on 36 attempts. She also contributed seven assists and four service aces, highlighted by a 24-dig performance in the 3-1 win over Rivier.
Setter Of The Week
Kason Huynh, Emmanuel (Jr.)
Junior Kason Huynh directed the offense with precision this week, averaging 10.38 assists per set over two GNAC wins for the Saints. The setter totaled 83 assists, 21 digs, and six points, while also adding two service aces. She posted a match-high 48 assists and 13 digs in a 3-1 victory over Rivier, followed by 35 assists and eight digs in a road win at Saint Joseph’s (Me.).
Weekly Honor Roll
Isabella Marquez, Emmanuel - Marquez delivered a dominant offensive performance for the Saints, averaging 4.25 kills per set while hitting .259 over two conference victories. She opened the week with a stellar 20 kills and five digs in a 3–1 win over Rivier, then followed with 14 kills and a .250 hitting percentage in another 3–1 victory at Saint Joseph’s (Me.). Across both matches, she totaled 34 kills, six digs, and 34.5 points, continuing to be a key offensive force for the Saints.
Genna Hyde, Mitchell- Hyde fueled the Mitchell offense with a dominant week, averaging 4.00 kills per set while hitting .291 across three matches. The sophomore outside hitter opened with 12 kills on .545 hitting in a sweep of Anna Maria, followed by 14 kills and 3 blocks in a 3–1 win at Elms. She closed the week with a standout 18-kill, 9-dig, 4-ace performance against Saint Joseph (Conn.). In total, Hyde recorded 44 kills, 9 aces, and 22 digs, leading the Mariners with 5.0 points per set.
Cimber Jenkins, Mitchell - Jenkins turned in an impressive week for Mitchell, averaging 2.73 kills per set while hitting .261 across three matches. She tallied 16 kills on .304 hitting in a win at Elms and added 11 more kills and 2 blocks against Saint Joseph (Conn.), finishing with 30 total kills and 31 points to help the Mariners go 2-1 on the week.
Julia Lent, Mitchell - Lent continued her stellar senior campaign by anchoring the Mariners’ defense with 54 digs (4.91/set), 17 assists, and 5 aces across three matches. She posted 12 digs with a perfect 1.000 reception rate in a sweep of Anna Maria, followed by 23 digs and 8 assists in a win over Elms. Lent closed the week with 19 digs, 6 assists, and 3 aces against Saint Joseph (Conn.), maintaining a strong .968 reception percentage.
Alexandra Rivera, Regis - Rivera set a new program record with 804 season assists after an exceptional week, totaling 111 assists and 29 digs across three victories. She posted a record 49 assists at Western New England and 44 assists with 15 digs against Colby-Sawyer.
Kaitlin Miller, Rivier - Miller anchored the Raiders’ defense with an impressive 49 digs (5.44/set), 47 receptions, and four aces over two GNAC matches. She tallied 19 digs against Emmanuel (Mass.) before exploding for a career-high 30 digs (6.00/set), 31 receptions (.903), and two aces in the reverse sweep over New England College, showcasing her consistency and defensive impact.
Ali Rivera, Rivier - Rivera powered the Raiders on both sides of the net last week, totaling 30 kills (3.33 k/s) with a .289 hitting percentage, 31 digs (3.44 d/s), and seven aces. She posted 11 kills and 18 digs against Emmanuel (Mass.) before erupting for a career-high 19 kills, 13 digs, and four aces in a reverse sweep of New England College.
Lily Seibel, Rivier - Seibel guided the Raiders’ attack with consistency, averaging 9.33 assists and 2.11 digs per set during a 1-1 GNAC week. She posted 84 total assists, 19 digs, and seven kills while hitting an impressive .462. Her performance included a 48-assist, four-kill effort in a reverse sweep over New England College.
