Player Of The Week
Greta Mackintosh, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Jr.)
Junior Greta Mackintosh powered the Monks to a perfect 3-0 week, posting 32 kills while committing only seven errors on 55 swings for an outstanding .455 hitting percentage. The junior outside hitter also contributed 13 digs and five block assists across the three sweeps. She saved her best for Saturday’s GNAC tri-match at New England College, where she averaged 4.00 kills per set and hit .583 in 3-0 wins over the Pilgrims and Albertus Magnus. For the week, Mackintosh averaged 3.56 kills, 1.44 digs, and 3.83 points per set in a breakout performance for Saint Joseph’s.
Libero Of The Week
Madeline Caro, Lasell (Sr.)
Senior Madeline Caro was a defensive standout in a perfect 3-0 week for the Lasers, collecting 29 digs (3.63 d/s) and holding a .933 reception percentage. She posted double-digit digs in two matches, including 13 with a flawless 1.000 reception rate in a sweep of Simmons, helping anchor a steady back row for Lasell.
Setter Of The Week
Bree Bacon, Colby-Sawyer (Jr.)
Junior Bree Bacon continued her strong start to the season, averaging 10.00 assists per set across two matches. She set a new career high with 43 assists and added eight digs and a service ace against Keene State, then followed with 37 assists and 15 digs in a GNAC victory over Elms. The junior finished the week with 80 total assists, 23 digs, and two aces to pace the Chargers’ offense.
Rookie Of The Week
Addison Sasnett, Colby-Sawyer (Fr.)
Freshman Addison Sasnett powered the Chargers with 33 kills (4.13 k/s) on a .362 hitting percentage across two matches, highlighted by 17 against Keene State and 16 more in a GNAC win over Elms. The rookie also contributed 24 digs and three service aces to cap a standout week.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Isabella Marquez, Emmanuel- Marquez collected 20 kills in two appearances for the Saints, averaging 3.33 kills per set at a .459 attack percentage.
Ava Olsen, Emmanuel- Olsen anchored the back row in a perfect 4-0 week, totaling 31 digs (2.82 d/s) and a .915 reception percentage. She posted double-digit digs in three matches, highlighted by 12 apiece against Farmingdale State and Pratt, while adding eight assists to spark the offense in transition.
Morgan Bogli, Lasell- Bogli fueled a perfect 3-0 week for the Lasers with 19 kills (2.1 k/s) while hitting .310 and adding 13 service aces. She posted back-to-back eight-kill performances before closing with three kills and four aces at Mitchell.
Sydney Katz, Lasell- Katz paced the Lasers with 78 assists (8.67 a/s) in a perfect 3-0 week, highlighted by back-to-back 29-assist efforts in GNAC play. She added six kills on a .667 hitting clip, 20 digs, and six aces to fuel the unbeaten stretch.
Julia Lent, Mitchell- Lent anchored Mitchell’s defense with 23 digs (3.83 d/s) and a .947 reception percentage across two matches. She tallied 12 digs and two aces in a sweep of Purchase and added 11 digs on a .952 clip against Lasell, helping solidify the Mariners’ back row.
Tyra Kelly, New England College- Kelly was dominant this week for the Pilgrims, accumulating 27 kills (2.45 per set) with a .310 hitting percentage and eight total blocks.
Ayla Albers, Regis - Albers fueled the Pride to two GNAC wins with 21 kills, nine service aces, and 30 points on the week, highlighted by 10 kills and six aces in a sweek against Norwich. She added 29 recepions at a .966 clip and 10 digs to cap her all around performance.
Alexandra Rivera, Regis- Rivera fueled Regis’ attack with 89 assists (8.90 a/s) over three matches, including 65 helpers in GNAC play at 10.83 per set. She added 19 digs, three block assists, and three aces to round out a standout all-around week.
Shaye Harris, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.)- Harris powered the Blue Jays in a GNAC tri-match with 31 kills (3.9 k/s), 20 digs, and four aces while hitting .270. She capped the day with a double-double of 17 kills and 13 digs in a win over Norwich.
