Player Of The Week
Avery Mola, Regis (Mass.) (Jr.)
Junior Avery Mola showcased her all-around game across three matches, finishing with 31 kills (3.10/set), 23 digs (2.30/set), four blocks, and five service aces. She powered Regis past Salve Regina with 12 kills on a .231 hitting clip and 17.0 points, then followed with a double-double of 13 kills and 17 digs in a five-set battle against Emerson. Mola closed out the week with six kills and four digs in a sweep of Husson, finishing with 38.5 total points and nearly four points per set.
Libero Of The Week
Kristina Cardello, New England College (Sr.)
Senior Kristina Cardello anchored the back row with 36 digs (6.0 per set) over two matches, highlighted by 18 digs apiece against MCLA and Norwich. She also contributed seven assists and three service aces. Cardello currently ranks fourth in the GNAC in digs per set.
Setter Of The Week
Lily Seibel, Rivier (So.)
Sophmore Lily Seibel fueled Rivier’s offense in a 2-0 week, totaling 66 assists (9.43 a/s), eight kills (1.14 k/s) on a .421 hitting percentage, 20 digs (2.86 d/s), and three service aces. She posted a double-double in a 3-1 win at Keene State, dishing out a career-best 37 assists with 15 digs while adding five kills on a .333 clip. She closed the week with 29 assists and three kills on a stellar .750 hitting percentage in a GNAC sweep of Mitchell.
Rookie Of The Week
Eva Catalanotto, Regis (Fr.)
Freshman Eva Catalanotto delivered a strong all-around performance, totaling 24 kills on 56 attempts for a .357 hitting percentage, averaging 2.40 kills per set. She opened the week with 10 kills, 2 blocks, and 2 service aces for 13.0 points in a sweep of Salve Regina. In a hard-fought five-set match against Emerson, she added 10 kills and 4 total blocks. She rounded out the week with 4 kills and 5.0 points in a 3-0 win over Husson. Overall, Catalanotto contributed 6 total blocks, 3 digs, 4 service aces, and 31.0 points (3.1 points per set).
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Bree Bacon, Colby-Sawyer - Bacon had a career week as a setter, totaling 53 assists over two matches. She set a single-match career high with 31 assists against USJ (10.33 per set) and added 22 more assists versus UMass Boston in the split weekend. She also contributed three kills, 12 digs, and seven points.
Madison Sinatro, Colby-Sawyer - Sinatro anchored the defense during a tri-match weekend, averaging 4.33 digs per set while totaling 26 digs across two matches. She was a force at the service line as well, delivering eight aces—including six in a conference sweep of the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). Sinatro finished with an impressive 88 percent reception rate, committing just three errors, and added two assists to round out a standout two-way performance.
Jaylen Holman, Elms - Recorded 35 assists while averaging 8.75 per set in a 3-1 victory over Bay Path. She also contributed 15 digs (3.75 d/s) and five total points, helping lead her team to a strong all-around performance.
Madeline Caro, Lasell - Caro served as a steady defensive presence, collecting 31 digs (3.9 per set) across two matches. She tallied 21 digs and seven assists in a five-set win over Wentworth and followed with 10 digs and four assists against Babson. On the week, she added 11 total assists and one service ace, helping anchor the backcourt.
Michelle French, Lasell - French recorded 4 kills and 8 total blocks in a five-set win over Wentworth. She added 1 kill and 5 blocks in a 3-0 loss to Babson, finishing the week with 5 kills, 13 blocks, 2 digs, and 13.5 points (1.7 points per set) across two matches.
Trinity Silva, Lasell - Silva powered the attack with 28 kills (3.5 k/s) across two matches, hitting an efficient .292 while adding nine digs and three block assists. She opened the week with a dominant 19-kill, 6-dig performance in a five-set win over Wentworth, finishing with 22.5 points. Against Babson, she chipped in nine kills, three digs, and two blocks. In total, she averaged 4.2 points per set with 33.5 points on the week.
Alexandra Rivera, Regis - Rivera orchestrated the offense with 89 total assists (8.09 a/s) while guiding her team to two wins and pushing Emerson to five sets. She opened the week with 32 assists in a sweep of Salve Regina before delivering 35 assists, eight digs, and three block assists in a hard-fought battle against Emerson. Rivera closed out the week with 22 more assists in a sweep over Husson. Across the three matches, she also contributed 15 digs (1.36 d/s), two service aces, and four total blocks.
Kaitlyn Miller, Rivier - The Raiders’ back row was powered by a breakout week from Miller, who tallied 29 digs (4.14 per set), 46 receptions at a .935 rate, and three aces in a 2-0 stretch. She set a single-game career high with 20 digs (5.00 d/s) in a 3-1 victory over Keene State and added nine more in a conference sweep of Mitchell.
Hannah Pridgeon, Simmons - Pridgeon turned in a strong two-match stretch, averaging 3.0 kills and 2.3 digs per set. She posted a double-double in a five-set battle with Mount Holyoke, recording 14 kills and 11 digs to go with 14.5 points. She followed that effort with 10 kills, seven digs, and a block assist in a sweep of Fitchburg State, finishing the week with 24 kills, 18 digs, and 24.5 total points.
