Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball Report - Week 3

Offensive Player of the Week
Tori Brillaud (North Andover, Mass.), Junior, Outside Hitter, Suffolk University
Brillaud was the Rams' top offensive player on the week as Suffolk finished 3-1 including sweeping a non-conference tri-match hosted by Curry College on Saturday. Brillaud finished with 22 kills in Saturday's match a 3-1 victory over Curry. The outside hitter finished the week with a mother 62 kills while hitting .264 from the floor. She also added 32 digs to average 2.29 digs per set to go along with five service aces.

Defensive Player of the Week
Alyssa Puccilli (Milford, Conn.), Sophomore, Libero, Albertus Magnus
Puccilli helped Albertus Magnus post 3-0 on the week with a stellar defensive effort, collecting 64 digs over 10 sets played to average 6.40 digs per set. Puccilli also chipped in with five assists and four service aces.

Rookie of the Week
Savannah Carpenter (Weston, Conn.), Freshman, Outside Hitter, Suffolk University
Carpenter had 14 kills in a 3-1 victory over Salem St. on Saturday afternoon. Carpenter averaged 3.5 points per set on the week as Suffolk was 3-1 in non-conference action. The outside hitter also notched 26 digs, 14 total blocks, five aces and two assists for the Rams.
