Olivia Costa, Emmanuel (So.)
Sophomore Olivia Costa kicked off her outdoor season strong with a fifth place finish in the 400 meters (1:01.82) at the Wesleyan Invitational to place first on the GNAC Leaderboards in the event.
Field Athlete of the Week
Ava Fisher, Emmanuel (Jr.)
Junior Ava Fisher placed herself atop two GNAC field event leaderboards at the Wesleyan Invitational as she placed third in the Javelin (35.44m) and 11th in the Discus (29.46m). Fisher also had a 13th place mark in the Hammer Throw at 29.92 meters, placing her second in the conference leaderboards.
Rookie Of The Week
Alisha Gomes, Emmanuel (Fr.)
Freshman Alisha Gomes collected a 10th place finish in the 200 meters (26:36) and an 11th place finish in the 400 meters (1:03.51) at the Wesleyan Invitational for a first and fourth place lead in the conference event leaderboards.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Tara Clark, Colby-Sawyer - Clark would kick off her outdoor season by putting herself in 1st and 4th early in the conference performance list thanks to her day at the Wesleyan Swanson Invite. Tara would run a 14.12 in the 100m before going on to run a 29.83 in the 200m to lead the Chargers.
