TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Caroline Carey, Emmanuel (Sr.) Senior Caroline Carey posted a pair of top-eight finishes on the track, setting PR's in the 100 meters and 200 meters. Her 100-meter time of 12.54 placed her fourth, while the 200-meter time of 25.74 was good for eighth. Both times earned the Braintree, Mass. native qualification to the New England Division III Regional Championships. |

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Desiree Robinson, Emmanuel (Sr.) Senior Desiree Robinson qualified for DIII New England Regionals in all three field events she competed in at the Sean Collier Invite as the New Haven, Conn. native's high jump of 1.58 meters, long jump of 5.29 meters, and triple jump of 11.18 meters were all good for second position. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Ellie Leech, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.) First-Year Ellie Leech opened the meet with a statement as the Berwick, Maine native threw a 40.04m in the javelin and set a 10-meter personal best, school record, DIII New England qualifier, and a mark that currently ranks Top 20 in NCAA Division III (17th in the nation). |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Leah O'Neill, Colby-Sawyer - Had a great week on the track as she would get a massive personal best in the steeplechase, running a 13:02 taking 20 seconds off her previous time and putting her second in the conference in that event.
Lila Brillhart, Colby-Sawyer - Had another great week of hurdles this week for the Chargers. She shattered her own school record once again as she ran a 15.06 in the finals of the Hurdles at Trinity this past weekend. It would extend her lead in the conference while moving her closer to top 50 in DIII.
Katelyn O'Brien, Johnson & Wales - Had an impressive meet competing in four events, placing fifth overall in javelin with a 36.47M as she continues to hold the top mark in the conference in the event. She also had an impressive performance in shot put, throwing 9.94M for 11th overall at the meet and a new school record. This throw also is second in the conference. She also had good marks in long jump and discus.
Kayoni Jordan, Lasell - Placed 13th at MIT's Sean Collier Invite with a 27.14 in the 200m, setting a huge personal best which now ranks fifth in the GNAC.
Ava Smart, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Broke the school record in the 400 meters, placing seventh overall in a stacked field with a time of 1:01.03. Smart sits atop the conference with this new mark. Smart also lead off the 4:08.52 4x400 relay, which now sits seventh in New England.
Agnessa Lysenko, Simmons - Impressed in the hammer throw, earning a top-20 finish with a mark of 35.94 meters.
