TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Madilyn Ebbinghaus, Lasell (So.)

Sophomore Madilyn Ebbinghaus kicked off her 2024-25 season with a strong showing at the Springfield College Season Opener. She finished 7th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.87 and 10th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.40. Ebbinghaus also contributed to a fifth-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay, helping her team clock in at 5:06.09.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Breya Whitman, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (So.)

Sophomore Breya Whitman claimed the Monks' only event victory at the Colby College Elm City Classic this past weekend, winning the high jump with a clearance of 1.51m. She also placed seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 9.14m.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Ellie Leech, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)

Monks freshman Ellie Leech set a school record in the shot put at the Colby College Elm City Classic this past weekend, recording a throw of 11.00m, which earned her 2nd place overall. She also placed 3rd in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.52.
