Swimmer Of The Week
Sara Omar, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Fr.)
Freshman Sara Omar paced the Blue Jays at the annual Blue Jay Pentathlon, finishing in sixth place with a combined overall time of 3:12.59. Omar swam the 50 Fly in 28.78 seconds, the 50 Backstroke in 31.41 seconds, the 50 Breaststroke in 37.78 seconds, the 50 Free in 26.67 seconds and the 100 IM in 1:07.95.
Diver Of The Week
Christina Dupre-Honda, Regis (Fr.)
Freshman Christina Dupre-Honda continued her dominance, claiming first place in the diving portion of the USJ Pentathlon with a score of 183.30 which was a commanding 34.6 points ahead of the second-place finisher.
Rookie Of The Week
Sophia Caruso, Regis (Fr.)
Freshman Sophia Caruso led the Pride at the USJ Pentathalon finishing just outside the top 10 in 11th place with a total time of 3:17.57 - just 0.48 seconds shy of cracking the top ten. Caruso also posted a personal best in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 25.25, moving up to ninth all-time in program history.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Kira Geiger, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Finished in second place during the one-meter diving event at the Blue Jay Pentathlon, finishing with a score of 148.70 points.
