Player Of The Week
Paige Letourneau, Emmanuel (Jr.)
Junior midfielder Paige Letourneau had an outstanding week for the Saints as they went 2-0, including a win in the GNAC Quarterfinals. Letourneau totaled three goals and one assist across the two matches. In the regular-season finale against Lasell (Oct. 28), she powered the Saints to a 4-0 victory by scoring two goals, including the game-winner. She carried that momentum into the GNAC Quarterfinals, where she added another goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over Norwich (Nov. 1) to help the Saints advance to the semifinals. Letourneau finished the week with eight shots, all of which were on goal, and currently ranks third in the GNAC in goals (16), points (38), and shots (83).
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Teigan Robie, Emmanuel (So.)
Sophomore goalkeeper Teigan Robie had an excellent week in net, helping the Saints go 2-0 with a 4-0 win over Lasell (Oct. 28) in the regular-season finale and a 3-1 victory over Norwich (Nov. 1) in the GNAC Quarterfinals. Robie played the full 180:00 minutes in goal, recording a shutout with two saves against Lasell before making five saves and allowing just one goal in the postseason win over Norwich. She finished the week with a .875 save percentage and currently ranks third in the GNAC in goals against average (0.83).
Rookie Of The Week
Mia Carll, Regis (Fr.)
First-year forward Mia Carll had a standout week for the Pride, scoring in both of the team’s matches. She opened the week with a goal in a 4-0 win over Saint Joseph’s College (Maine) (Oct. 28) in the regular-season finale before netting one of her best goals of the year, an insurance goal, in a 2-0 upset win over Colby-Sawyer in the GNAC Quarterfinals (Nov. 1). With the victory, Carll helped lead the Pride to their first GNAC Semifinal appearance since joining the conference in 2017. She finished the week with five shots, three of which were on goal.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Lauren Ardolino, Colby-Sawyer - Scored two goals in the Chargers’ final regular season game, helping spark a comeback from a 3-0 deficit to secure a 3-3 draw against New England College (Oct. 29). She took nine shots in the match, with seven of them on goal.
Kat Probst, Norwich - Recorded seven points on the week with three goals and one assist. She notched two goals and an assist in a 9-0 win over Mitchell (Oct. 28) to close out the regular season before adding another goal in a 3-1 loss to defending champions Emmanuel in the GNAC Quarterfinals (Nov. 1).
Zoey Lazzaro, Norwich - Notched the first two goals of her collegiate career in the Pride’s 9-0 win over Mitchell (Oct. 28) to close out the regular season.
Daniela Mazo, Regis - Anchored the Pride in net this week, starting both games and not allowing a single goal. Played 45:00 in a 4-0 win over Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Oct. 28) where she made one save, then followed up with another strong performance in the GNAC Quarterfinals against Albertus Magnus (Nov. 1), recording six saves in another 45:00 of action.
Madison Corcoran, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Totaled 21 saves on the week across two games. Had nine saves and only allowed one goal in a 5-1 win over Elms (Oct. 28) in the final regular season game. She then made 12 saves and allowed three goals in a 3-0 loss to Rivier (Nov. 1) in the GNAC Quarterfinals.
