Player Of The Week
Sarah Dullaghan, Emmanuel (Sr.)
Senior forward Sarah Dullaghan had an impressive week for the Saints, totaling seven points on three goals and one assist to help her team go 2-0 in conference play. She opened the week with a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win over Saint Joseph’s (Maine) (Oct. 22) before adding two more goals, including the game winner, in a 6-0 victory against Colby-Sawyer (Oct. 25). Dullaghan tallied 11 shots on the week with seven on target and currently leads the GNAC in goals (19), points (46), shots (89), and shots on goal (58), while sitting tied for third in assists (8).
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Bri Nugent, Rivier (Sr.)
Senior goalkeeper Bri Nugent had an outstanding week in net for the Raiders, posting back-to-back shutouts and totaling eight saves as the team went 2-0 in conference play. She played all 180 minutes on the week, opening with a three-save performance in a 3-0 win over Colby-Sawyer (Oct. 22) before adding five more saves in a 2-0 victory against Norwich (Oct. 25). Nugent currently ranks fifth in the GNAC in save percentage (.784), third in goals against (11), and fifth in goals against average (1.05).
Rookie Of The Week
Julia Benvegnu, Regis (Fr.)
First-year forward Julia Benvegnu helped lead the Pride to a strong 2-0 week in conference play. She opened the week by netting two goals, including the game winner, in a 5-0 victory over Dean (Oct. 22), then added the game-winning assist in a tight 2-1 win against Elms (Oct. 25). On the week, she took six shots with four on goal. Benvegnu is currently tied for first on the Pride in goals (8) and ranks second in both assists (3) and points (19).
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Ejalam Bravo, Albertus Magnus - Helped the team go 2-0 in conference play this week, totaling two goals and one assist. She recorded a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over Elms (Oct. 22) before adding another goal in a 3-0 victory over New England College. She is currently tied for first in the GNAC in assists (9).
Elizabeth DaSilva, Lasell - Posted back-to-back shutouts for the Lasers this week, playing the full 180:00 minutes in net. She recorded three saves in a 2-0 win over Simmons (Oct. 22) before adding another save in a 3-0 win over Dean (Oct. 25). She currently leads the GNAC in save percentage (.849) and ranks fourth in goals against average (0.89).
Cassidy Van Cott, Regis - Did not allow a goal across two games while playing 117:59 minutes in net. She made four saves in a 5-0 win over Dean (Oct. 22) before adding another save in a 2-1 win over Elms (Oct. 25).
Leah Morrier, Rivier - Had a six-point week for the Raiders, totaling two goals and two assists while scoring the game-winning goal in both contests. She tallied a goal and two assists in a 3-0 win over Colby-Sawyer (Oct. 22) before adding another goal in a 2-0 win over Norwich (Oct. 25). She currently ranks second in the GNAC in goals (16) and points (41), and is tied for first in assists (9).
Ashlyn Guerette, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Made 19 saves on the week as the Monks went 1-1. She recorded 14 saves in a 5-0 loss to Emmanuel (Oct. 22) before posting her sixth shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Oct. 25), making five saves. She currently ranks second in the GNAC in save percentage (.816).
Alana Picard, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Notched six points in a 1-1 week for the Blue Jays, highlighted by a standout performance in a 6-0 win over Mitchell (Oct. 22) where she recorded a hat trick. She currently ranks fourth in points in the GNAC and is tied for fourth in goals (12).
Erika Horne, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - In her lone game of the week, she posted a six-save shutout in a dominant 6-0 win over Mitchell (Oct. 22).
