PLAYER OF THE WEEK Bridget O'Connell, Colby-Sawyer (Jr., F) Junior forward Bridget O'Connell could not be stopped this week, registering back-to-back five-point games for Colby-Sawyer. The line score was the same in both matches with O'Connell registering two goals and an assist against both Simmons and the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.). Against the Blue Jays on Saturday (Sept. 23), she was a factor in all three scores for the Chargers in a 3-2 victory. One of her goals was the game-winner.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Lataya Simmons, Lasell (Fr., GK) First-year goalkeeper Lataya Simmons collected two clean sheets this week against conference opponents. First on Wednesday (Sept. 20), she made one save to keep Norwich off the scoresheet in a 3-0 decision before making two saves against Elms on Saturday (Sept. 23) to win by the same score.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Alana Picard, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (So., F) Sophomore forward Alana Picard found the back of the net three times this week for the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) leading a to a 1-1 record for the Blue Jays. Two of Picard's tallies came on Wednesday (Sept. 20) 5-0 GNAC victory over Anna Maria. It was her second multi-goal game of her career. She followed that up with a goal in narrow 3-2 loss at the hands of Colby-Sawyer on Saturday (Sept. 23). |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Victoria Jainchill, Albertus Magnus - Scored a goal against Mitchell and two goals, including a game-winner, against Rivier.
Sam Bishop, Colby-Sawyer - Scored a goal and an assist against Simmons in a 6-0 win before opening the scoring against Saint Joseph (Conn.) while also adding another assist.
Alexis Lebreton, Colby-Sawyer - Earned their first shutout of season against Simmons in 6-0 win. Played the final 15 minutes of the USJ 3-2 win and helped hold them off and secure the win. They played a total of 105 minutes not allowing any goals.
Gaby Baker, Emmanuel - Picked up a pair of wins with a 6-1 win over Dean followed by a 1-0 win against Simmons. Finished the week with a 0.50 GAA and an .833 save percentage.
Ciara Horan, Emmanuel - Scored a pair of goals to go along with one assist in two matches for the Saints this past week. Scored her first career goal in a win at Dean, adding an assist for a three-point match. Then scored the lone goal of the match in a 1-0 win against Simmons.
MacKenna Renaud, Johnson & Wales - Collected her first collegiate hat trick in a win at Anna Maria, scoring once in the first half and twice in the second to help the Wildcats remain unbeaten in GNAC play.
Stephanie Bronowicki, New England College - Tallied eight saves against Dean in a narrow 1-0 loss.
Emily Lizotte, Rivier - Scored three goals in two games as Rivier posted a 1-1 week in GNAC play. Scored the game-winner in a 2-0 home victory over Elms. Buried two goals in a narrow 4-3 defeat at Albertus Magnus to get to six points on the week.
Elizabeth Garlock, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Netted her first career hat trick to help power USJ to a 5-0 victory over Anna Maria.
