Player Of The Week
Madeline Wright, Emmanuel (Sr.)
Senior Madeline Wright led the two-seeded Saints to a 2-0 week and a ticket to the GNAC semifinals after collecting 12 points on 10 goals and two assists. Wright totaled seven points in the regular season finale over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), totaling five goals and two assists in a 18-12 victory before avoiding an upset on Saturday by scoring five in a tight 10-8 win over #7 seed New England College.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Tia Spenlinhauer, Lasell (So.)
Sophomore Tia Spenlinhauer went 1-1 in net for the #4 seed Lasers, collecting 21 saves (50.0%) on the week in two games against #5 seed Colby-Sawyer. In the first, she collected 13 in the regular season finale before collecting eight in the quarterfinals against the Chargers.
Rookie Of The Week
Sophia Albright, Norwich (Fr.)
Freshman Sophia Albright played a major role in a 2-0 week for #3 seed Norwich, totaling seven points on five goals and two assists while helping the Cadets close the regular season with a dominant win and advance to the GNAC Semifinals. In Wednesday’s 21-2 road victory at Mitchell, Albright erupted for six points on four goals and two assists, helping Norwich build a 16-0 halftime lead. She then delivered the biggest moment of the week in Saturday’s GNAC Quarterfinal against #6 seed USJ, scoring the sudden-victory overtime winner just 34 seconds into the extra session to lift the Cadets to a 13-12 postseason win. Albright finished the week shooting 71.4 percent and put five of her seven shots on goal.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Rose Finlayson, Colby-Sawyer - Finlayson helped the Chargers to a split week against the Lasers. She opened the week with a goal and an assist before coming back and leading the Chargers in scoring with five goals to push Colby-Sawyer into the Semifinals. She would total six goals and two assists on the week with eight draw controls.
Addison Glavin, Colby-Sawyer - Glavin was a big factor in getting the Chargers into the Semifinals of the GNAC playoffs after a strong performance in the Quarterfinal over Lasell. Addison recorded seven saves on 15 shots with a save percentage of 46.7 to lead the Chargers in a rebound game over the Lasers.
Keira Walsh, Emmanuel - Walsh took two wins in net for the Saints after posting a 45.9% save percentage (17 saves).
Emily Watson, Lasell - Watson had a pair of goals in both contests against Colby-Sawyer and totaled seven draw controls and three caused turnovers on the week.
Chloe Jennings, Mitchell - Jennings delivered a standout offensive performance for Mitchell in a pair of GNAC contests, leading the team with six goals over two games. Jennings totaled six points on six goals while adding eight ground balls, four caused turnovers, and four draw controls. Her top performance came against Simmons University, where she scored five goals on 10 shots, including a free-position tally, while also collecting seven ground balls and causing three turnovers. She followed with another goal in GNAC action against Norwich University.
Tatum Villa, New England College - Villa tallied 21 saves across two games for the Pilgrims this week. Villa made 12 saves with a 52.2 save percentage in a 12-11 win over Rivier on Wednesday, then added nine saves and one ground ball in Saturday's quarterfinal loss to Emmanuel College.
Vivian Buntin, Norwich - Buntin paced Norwich through a 2-0 week with eight points on seven goals and one assist, helping the Cadets close the regular season with a dominant road win before advancing to the GNAC Semifinals with an overtime playoff victory. In Wednesday’s 21-2 win at Mitchell, Buntin totaled five points on four goals and an assist as Norwich built a 16-0 halftime lead and cruised to the finish. She followed with a hat trick in Saturday’s 13-12 sudden-victory overtime win over University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in the GNAC Quarterfinals, while also contributing four draw controls in the postseason victory. Buntin finished the week shooting 77.8 percent, put seven of her nine shots on goal, and added six draw controls, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
Bailey Ingala, Norwich - Ingala came through with a clutch postseason performance in net on Saturday, helping third-seeded Norwich earn a 13-12 sudden-victory overtime win over sixth-seeded University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) in the GNAC Quarterfinals. Ingala played all 61:34 in goal and made 11 saves, several in key moments as the Blue Jays mounted repeated pushes throughout the second half and late in regulation. Her poise and timely stops helped Norwich withstand the pressure of a one-goal playoff battle and advance to the GNAC Semifinals.
Celia Melanson, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Melanson totaled 12 points on five goals and seven assists to lead Saint Joseph’s to a pair of victories last week. The senior standout opened with a six-point effort (1G, 5A) in a 21-3 win at Elms and followed with another six-point performance (4G, 2A) in a 16-3 GNAC Tournament quarterfinal victory over Rivier.
Leah Finn, Simmons - Finn scored a career-high 7 goals against mithcell in a win. Then, she followed that up with 6 goals against Dean for another win.
Anna LeGault, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - LeGault totaled 14 points on the week with nine goals and five assists. She opened the week with five goals and two assists in an 18–12 home loss to Emmanuel College on Wednesday night (4/22) in the Blue Jays’ 2026 regular‑season finale. She followed that performance by leading sixth‑seeded USJ’s offense with four goals and three assists in a heartbreaking 13–12 overtime setback at third‑seeded Norwich University in the GNAC Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon (4/25). For the week, LeGault placed 13 of her 18 shots on goal for a 72.2% shot‑on‑goal percentage and converted nine of her 18 attempts for a 50.0% shooting percentage.
