Lions Seeded Second In ECAC New England Division III Tournament
Emerson College has secured the second seed in the 2009 Eastern College Athletic Conference New England Division III Womens Lacrosse Championship Tournament. The Lions (12-2) will face seventh seeded Worcester State College (7-6) on Wednesday at 3:30pm at Rotch Field. Emerson defeated the Lancers 15-7 earlier this season.

Top seeded Roger Williams University (15-3) has a first round bye. In other Wednesday games third seeded Castleton State College will host number six seed Curry College (11-8), and fourth seeded Western New England College (10-7) will host the fifth seed, New England College (10-8).
Should the Lions defeat Worcester State, Emerson will face the winner of the Castleton-Curry Game on Saturday at 2p.m. in the semi-finals. Roger Williams will play the survivor of the WNEC-New England College match-up.
The championship game will be played at the site of the highest remaining seed on Sunday, May 10.
