PLAYER OF THE WEEK Marinique Reddin, Anna Maria (Sr., F) Senior forward Marinique Reddin delivered a dominant week, totaling 64 points and 39 rebounds across two games as the Amcats went 1-1. In Monday's (Nov. 18) 89-80 loss to Nichols, Reddin posted a monster double-double with 29 points and a career-high 25 rebounds, while also adding four assists and two steals. She followed that performance with another standout effort on Wednesday (Nov. 20), dropping yet another career-high 35 points and pulling down 14 rebounds in a 68-57 win over Fitchburg State. Reddin accounted for more than half of her teams points, and also chipped in four steals in the victory. For the week, she averaged an impressive 32.0 points, 19.5 rebounds per game, and three steals per game and is currently ranked third in the GNAC in points per game (23.0). |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Grace Jaffray, Johnson & Wales (Fy., G) First-year guard Grace Jaffray earned her second GNAC Rookie of the Week honors this season after an outstanding week, averaging 24.0 points per game on 44.7% shooting. Jaffray played a key role in her team’s 2-0 week, helping them achieve their first 4-0 season start since the 2015-16 campaign. On Friday (Nov. 22), in a 70-62 victory over FDU-Florham, Jaffray recorded 15 points, eight rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal. She followed that with a stellar performance on Sunday (Nov. 24), scoring 33 points on 48% shooting in a dominant 97-52 win over Bard. She also added five steals and a block to her stat line. Jaffray currently ranks second in the GNAC in points per game (25.8). |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Caitlyn Scott, Albertus Magnus - Averaging 21.3 points per game, Scott was a standout for the Falcons in a challenging 1-2 week. She opened with 19 points, three rebounds, and three assists in a 75-65 setback against Amherst. In a thrilling 68-66 victory over Bates, she delivered an impressive 31 points, six rebounds, and three assists. She capped off the week with 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists against nationally-ranked Rhode Island College. This week, she also became the fourth all-time leading scorer in Albertus Magnus history.
Elyza Mitchell, Colby-Sawyer - Played a pivotal role in the Chargers' 2-0 week, helping the team achieve its first 6-0 start since 2006. She posted back-to-back double-doubles, starting with 15 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and five steals in a 51-44 victory over Plymouth State. She followed up with 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 78-62 win over Fitchburg State. This marked her fourth consecutive double-double.
Lyric Grumblatt, Rivier - Delivered an explosive week for the Raiders, averaging 29.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game across three contests. Her standout performance came in a high-scoring battle against Trinity, where she poured in an incredible 44 points, adding six rebounds and four assists. She was efficient in that game, shooting a blistering 50.0% from the field, going 12-24.
Grace Ramsdell, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Lead the Monks in points during their 2-0 week. She opened the week recording 17 points and eight rebounds in a 73-61 win over the University of New England. She followed that up with a game-high 21 points, seven rebounds, a block, and a steal in a 67-54 victory over Husson.
Taylor Verboven, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Shot an impressive 52.6% from the floor while totaling 47 points and 22 rebounds across three games. She started the week strong with 14 points and nine rebounds in a 79-66 win over John Jay. In an 82-63 loss to Western New England, she contributed a team-high 19 points along with five rebounds. She wrapped up the week tallying 14 points and eight rebounds in a 90-61 setback against Geneseo.
