Brown Earns Capital One/CoSIDA AcademicAll-District Honors
NORTHFIELD, Vt.—Junior guard Kristin Brown (Williamstown, Vt.) of the Norwich University women's basketball game has been named to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District honors, as announced Thursday evening. The All-District recipients are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The All-District recipients are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Brown, a health science major, boasts a 3.97 grade point average in the classroom and has earned a 4.0 in every semester except one throughout her college career. Brown also coaches youth basketball in her community and volunteers for a reading program at the local elementary school.
In addition to her academic achievements, Brown has been a critical part of the Cadets' program this season. A playmaker tasked with bringing the ball up the floor, she has started all 20 contests and leads the team in assists (94) and steals (39). She also boasts a 1.22 assists-to-turnovers ratio and ranks ninth in program history in career assists.
Brown is now eligible for nomination to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American squad that will be released in February.
