Player of the Week
Lianna Carrero (Hamden, Conn.), Junior, Guard, Albertus Magnus College
Carrero scored a career-high 31 points in the Falcons' 64-59 win over Springfield College on Tuesday, Dec. 11. The junior shot 45% from the field and 13-of-15 from the free-throw line to lead the Falcons to victory. Carrero played all 40 minutes for the Falcons and pulled down five rebounds to go along with six assists, two steals and one blocked shot. The Falcons are 8-1 heading into the holiday break as it is the best start in program history.

Rookie of the Week
Molly Lauver (Cambridge, N.Y.), Freshman, Guard, Lasell College
Lauver put together a solid all-around game in the Lasers 65-41 victory over Gordon College, scoring 10 points to reach double figures for the fifth straight game. Lauver shot 4-8 from the floor and added six rebounds, a career-high five assists, and a pair of steals on the night.
