PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mel Rees, Regis (Jr.)
Junior Mel Rees had an outstanding week at the plate, leading the offense across seven games with a .542 batting average, .542 on-base percentage, and .667 slugging percentage, going 13-for-24. Rees totaled 16 bases with three doubles and six RBIs, providing consistent production throughout the week. Rees recorded multiple hits in four games, including a 3-for-4 performance with a double and four RBIs in a 5–1 win over North Central (Ill.). She also added another 3-for-4 game against Blackburn and contributed a 2-for-4 outing with a double and two RBIs in a 9–4 win over Skidmore. In addition to her offensive production, Rees was flawless defensively, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage with 11 chances and no errors. She also made an appearance in the circle, pitching 4.0 innings while allowing just two earned runs.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Olivia DeCicco, Mitchell (Sr.)
Senior Olivia DeCicco delivered a strong week in the circle for Mitchell, posting a 2–1 record with a 2.47 ERA across three starts while logging 17.0 innings and striking out 13 batters. She opened the week with a dominant outing in an 18–3 win over Penn State–Scranton, allowing just one hit across four scoreless innings while striking out seven. DeCicco followed with a complete-game victory in a 12–1 win over New Jersey City, scattering eight hits and allowing just one run over seven innings. Later in the week, the senior added another complete-game effort, throwing six innings against Penn State–Mont Alto. Overall, DeCicco allowed just six earned runs on 17 hits while issuing only three walks, finishing the week with a 1.18 WHIP.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Kiera Gabric, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)
Freshman Kiera Gabric hit .348 (8-for-23) with 10 runs scored, two RBI, and four stolen bases over eight games for Saint Joseph’s during the week. She recorded three multi-hit performances, including a 3-for-4 effort with two runs and a double in a 9-4 win over Washington College, and reached base at a .444 clip while helping the Monks generate offense throughout the week.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Bryce DeGasparre, Dean - DeGasparre posted a strong week in the circle for Dean, going 2–2 with a 2.45 ERA across 25.2 innings while striking out 12 batters and tossing two complete games. The junior highlighted her week with complete-game victories over Mount St. Mary (N.Y.) and St. Scholastica, allowing just one run in the latter to secure a 3–1 win.
Brooke Clancy, Mitchell - Clancy paced Mitchell’s offense during a six-game stretch, batting .421 (8-for-19) with four runs scored, two doubles, and eight RBI, while posting a .500 on-base percentage and .526 slugging percentage. She recorded three multi-hit games during the week, highlighted by a 2-for-4 performance with a double and four RBI in a 12–1 victory over New Jersey City. Clancy also delivered a clutch 2-for-3 effort with a double and three RBI against Penn State–Abington and opened the week with a perfect 2-for-2 performance with a walk and an RBI in an 18–3 win over Penn State–Scranton.
Kate Julian, Regis - Julian was a workhorse in the circle this week, making five appearances with four starts and throwing 26.0 innings. She recorded two wins and three complete games, finishing the week with a 3.50 ERA while striking out 16 batters and issuing just six walks. Julian delivered two standout performances in victories. She threw a complete-game seven-inning outing in a 5–1 win over North Central (Ill.), allowing just one run on eight hits while walking one. She followed that with another complete-game effort in a 9–4 win over Skidmore, surrendering four runs (none earned) while striking out six.
Sadie Tirrell, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Tirrell led Saint Joseph’s at the plate during the week, batting .522 (12-for-23) with six runs scored, two doubles, and seven RBI across eight games. Tirrell posted a .560 on-base percentage and .609 slugging percentage, highlighted by a 3-for-3 performance with two RBI and a run scored against Earlham and multiple two-hit games, including a 2-for-3 outing with an RBI in a 10-1 win over Washington College.
Jennifer Antonowicz, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Antonowicz paced the Blue Jays during their final six games at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, slashing .500/.591/.500 with nine hits, five RBI, four walks, and five runs scored.
