PLAYER OF THE WEEK Olivia Howe, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Sr., IF - Arundel, Maine) - Hit .611 (11-for-18) with six runs, four doubles, a home run, and six RBI in a 5-1 week for the Monks. Posted a 1.000 slugging percentage during the week and registered her 100th career hit in a win over reigning GNAC Champion Johnson & Wales University on Saturday. |

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Meredith Pence, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Sr., P - Remington, Va.) - Was lights out in three starts last week. Went 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA, while allowing only seven hits with 22 strikeouts across 18 innings. Tied a career high with 13 strikeouts while giving up only three hits in eight shutout innings to help the Monks tip Johnson & Wales, 1-0 in eight innings, on Saturday. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Teagan Buckley, Simmons (Fy., OF - Barrington, Ill.) - Batted .526 (10-for-19) with a 1.346 OPS (.737 SLG%, .609 OBP)to help guide Simmons to a 3-3 week, including the Sharks first win since 2019 against Emmanuel. Registered a career single-game best, going three-for-three with a double and an RBI in the second game against the Saints. Closed out the week, going four-for-six, with two runs scored, a triple and two RBI on the road against Elms. Currently riding a five-game hitting streak since going three-for-three against Emmanuel.

HONOR ROLL
Sari Albury, Dean (Sr, P/INF - Nassau, Bahamas) - Led the Bulldogs at the plate by hitting .500 with four home runs and 10 RBIs in four games. Hit a two-run homer in a tough 7-6 loss to Regis and followed with a solo home run accounting for Dean's lone run in a 15-1 loss to Regis. Belted a two-run homer and then secured the victory with a grand slam in the Bulldogs' 9-0 road win at Saint Joseph. Also scored six runs during the week. Leads the GNAC with seven home runs.
Bianca Burke, Regis (Mass.) (So., OF/IF - Cambridge, Mass.) - Reached base safely in every game over the past week, finishing with a .500 batting average (12-for-24) with four walks, two doubles, and 10 runs scored. In the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against Fisher, went 4-for-4 with four runs scored. In the second game Saturday at Dean, went 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Capped the week with an outfield assist in Sunday's first game against Johnson & Wales. Also collected five stolen bases during the week. For the season, is tied for second in the GNAC with 13 stolen bases and fourth in the league with a .425 batting average.
Ally Kirck, Lasell (Jr., OF - Hamden, Conn.) - Recorded 11 hits across eight games for the Lasers, and scored a run in seven games. Hit .458 on the week, with an OBP of .567.
Maren McGinn, Norwich (So., P/1B - Georgia, Vt.) - Picked up five extra base hits this weekend including her first home run of her career to lead off Game 1 against Anna Maria. In Game 1 against Albertus, she went 3-for-3 with two doubles and in Game 1 against Anna Maria she went 4-for-5 with two doubles and the aforementioned home run. Also pitched 18.0 innings, surrendering just one earned run for 0.39 ERA on the week.
Christina Panagiotopoulos, Rivier (Fr., OF - Lowell, Mass.) - Had an absolute monster week at the plate for the Raiders in a week that they went 6-0. Batted .474, while slugging of .632. In 19 at bats, had nine hits with a home run and ten runs batted in.
Jill Pulek, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Gr., IF - Cheshire, Conn.) - Batted .429 with five doubles and four RBI last week for JWU. Reached base safely in six of seven outings and collected four multi-hit games, including a 2-for-3, two-doubles effort at Wheaton (Mass.) on Tuesday. Plated a pair of runs in Sunday's opener against Regis (mass.) and went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the nightcap. On the season, owns a .464 average (t-2nd in GNAC) with 28 RBI.
Alyssa Roberts, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., P/1B - Naugatuck, Conn.) - Paced the Blue Jays to a 4-4 week, leading the team with a .500/.593/.773 batting line. Tallied 11 hits, three doubles, one homerun, seven RBI, six runs scored, and drew five walks across eight games. Started the week with a 2-for-3 outing at the plate in a 8-5 win against John Jay, scoring two runs while recording an RBI. Was a perfect 3-for-3 in game two of a doubleheader against intrastate foe Western Connecticut. Had a stellar opening game against Dean on Sunday, going 3-for-4 at the plate, including hitting a walk-off grand slam in a 9-1 victory against the Bulldogs.
Breanna Saldivar, Albertus Magnus (Sr., OF - Middletown, Conn.) - OPosted a slash line of .407/.500/.519 for a 1.000 OPS across eight games for Albertus last week, going 11-for-27 (.407) with 10 runs, one double, one triple, and seven RBI. Recorded four multi-hit performances while tallying five games with one or more RBI. Went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, two runs scored, and two RBI in the Falcons' 6-1 victory over Lasell.
Amanda Savinelli, Albertus Magnus (So., P/2B - New Haven, Conn.) - Went a perfect 2-0 inside the circle for the Falcons in a 6-2 week, posting a 0.00 ERA with five strikeouts, one walk, and one hit in 11.1 innings. Went the distance against Elms, pitching a complete game, a no-hitter, and a shutout in a 16-0 road victory. Savinelli's first win of the week came against Eastern Nazarene, as the hurler allowed just one hit while striking out two batters over 2.2 innings of relief.
