Albertus Magnus senior Angelina Ramada helped guide the Falcons to a 2-0 week down in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Angelina Ramada, Albertus Magnus (Sr., OF - North Branford, Conn.) - Ramada helped guide the Falcons to a 2-0 week down in Myrtle Beach, S.C. as the senior outfielder finished with a slash line of .800/.875/1.200 with two doubles, four runs scored, and five RBIs. In the Falcons' 9-1 win over Wilson, Ramada went 2-for-3 at the plate with both hits coming as doubles, and tallied a team-high three RBIs. She closed out the week going 2-for-2 that included three runs scored and a pair of RBI in the 18-11 victory over Skidmore.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Meredith Pence, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sr., P - Remington, Va.) - Pence was dominant in three appearances in Kissimmee last week, as the senior southpaw went 2-0 with a 0.88 ERA while allowing 14 hits and four walks with 16 strikeouts in 16 innings. She gave up one run on five hits and three walks with 7 K's over seven innings in a 2-1 win over Illinois College on Monday and yielded one earned run off seven hits and a walk with eight punch-outs in a 3-2 triumph over Marian (Wis.) on Thursday. She capped the trip with two scoreless relief innings versus #22 Rochester (N.Y.) on Friday.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Mady Lyons, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Fr., C - Prior Lake, Minn.) - Lyons continued her torrid start as she batted .381 with a pair of home runs and nine RBI for the Wildcats en route to a 1.149 OPS. She belted a three-run home run against Carnegie Mellon on Monday, then went 3-for-4 with a round tripper and three RBI in a win over Aurora. On Thursday, Lyons plated a pair against Heidelberg and another later in the day against Lebanon Valley. Early on the season, Lyons is now tied for the GNAC lead in both home runs (2) and RBI (11).

HONOR ROLL
Sarah Fortini, Elms (Sophomore, OF - Florida, Mass.) - Fortini hit went 4-for-11 (.364), all doubles, with five RBI and a .727 slugging percentage last week.
Jill Pulek, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Gr., IF - Cheshire, Conn.) - Pulek batted .567 (17-of-30) with three doubles, two home runs and seven RBI in eight games for the Wildcats last week in Florida. The Cheshire, Conn. native recorded six multi-hit games, including a pair of three-hit efforts and a 4-for-4 performance against Carnegie Mellon. Pulek - who posted a .581 on-base pct. - helped the Wildcats post a 4-4 record last week, and the Wildcats closed the trip 6-4.
Katie Scheid, Johnson & Wales (RI) (So., P - Hightstown, N.J.) - Scheid threw her first collegiate no-hitter in a 2-1 win over Otterbein on Monday, and finished the week 3-1 with a 2.73 ERA and three complete games. The Hightstown, New Jersey native scattered seven hits in a 2-1 complete game victory over Muskingum before hurling a complete game shutout against Simmons on Friday. Scheid held the Sharks to six hits, and finished the week with 12 punchouts in 25.2 IP.
Grace Stephenson, Lasell (Freshman, C - Bristol, R.I.) - The first-year was 4-for-6 in her first two career games with three doubles and three runs scored for the Lasers, who went 1-1 on Sunday.
Kayla Morrill, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., IF - Lynn, Mass.) - Morrill batted .700 (7-for-10) in four games as the Pride continued their Spring Break trip to South Carolina. She drove in a run with a single in her only plate appearance last Monday against Kean. Wednesday, she was a perfect 6-for-6 on the day, starting with a 2-for-2 performance against Penn State-Abington with an RBI and a walk. Later Wednesday, Morrill went 4-for-4 against Rosemont with two RBI singles and a double.
Jenna Zup, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., INF - Berlin, Conn.) - Zup paced USJ to a 1-2 start at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., slashing .625/.667/1.125. She recorded five hits, including two doubles and a triple, four RBI and one walk. Went 2-for-4 in the 8-6 win against Hunter, recording two RBI and a triple. Was a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate against Suffolk, notching two doubles and two RBI.
Sylvia Foley, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Sophomore, 3B/C - Scarborough, Maine) - Foley hit .364 (8-22) with three runs, two doubles, and five RBI in eight games for the Monks last week. The sophomore third baseman carried a nine-game hitting streak into Saturday's loss to Saint Benedict and lifted the Royal Blue to a 2-1 win over Illinois College on Monday by going 2-3 with a pair of RBI.
Leah Connor, Simmons (First Year, 3B - Broomfield, Colo.) - First-year corner infielder Leah Connor posted a .435 (10-23) batting average with a staggering 1.128 OPS (.519 OBP, .609 SLG%) from the top of the Sharks lineup. Midway through the week, the Colorado native registered a career single-game best went 4-for-4 at the plate with a double, RBI and a run scored in a 4-1 victory over regional foe UMass-Dartmouth. Over the course of the eight game week, Connor recored three multi-hit games, including going 3-for-4 with a triple against Allegheny and going 2-for-4 with a run scored and a walk to close out the week against Edgewood College. Additionally, she played exceptional defensively at the hot corner recording 14 putouts and 14 assists in eight games.
