STANDISH, ME – Senior designated player Lindsay Moore (Barrington, N.H.) went 3-4 with two runs, a home run and five RBI and senior pitcher Rae-Marie Copan (Newton, Mass.) tossed a two-hitter to propel #3 Saint Joseph’s College (34-4) past #2 Western Connecticut State University (31-12-1), 10-0, in an NCAA DIII Softball Tournament contest at Wellesley College on Friday afternoon.
NORTHAMPTON, Mass. - The sixth-seeded Albertus Magnus softball team fell to third-seeded Smith College 2-1 in the opening round of the 2014 Division III ECAC New England Tournament in Northampton, Mass. on Wednesday afternoon.

The Falcons will head to Northampton, Mass. where they will take on third-seeded Smith College on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

Bailey Field on Sunday evening. With the result, Saint Joseph's earns an automatic berth into the NCAA DIII Softball Tournament for the fourth-consecutive season.

She completed a no hitter in a 6-0 victory over Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) foe Albertus Magnus, and broke the Mount Ida single season record, with her 109th strikeout of the 2014 campaign.
Providence, R.I. – Senior Taylor Cwalinski (Jackson, N.J.) notched a perfect game, striking out 13 of the 15 batters faced in five innings to give the Wildcats an 8-0 win in the first game of a Great Northeast Athletic Conference double header against Suffolk at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletics Complex on Sunday afternoon.
