GNAC Softball Weekly Honors: March 14, 2011

Lauren Beatty (Rivier) and Catherine Roy (Rivier) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Softball Weekly Honors.

Rivier’s Catherine Roy had a great collegiate debut on the Raiders’ Florida spring training trip. The rookie had a bases clearing double in the final game of the week to help the Raiders to a 4-2 week. Roy batted .523 over the 6 games with 8 RBI's.

Rivier’s Lauren Beatty had a grand first week for the Raiders. The rookie hit 3 homeruns and pitched 9 2/3 innings, in her first week of collegiate softball. Beatty had only one earned run on the week with one save, going 1-0 on the mound.
