Offensive Player Of The Week
Trey Guest, Emmanuel (Sr.)
Senior Trey Guest turned in a dominant three-match stretch, totaling 49 kills (4.90 per set) on .379 hitting while adding 11 digs, nine blocks, and four service aces. He opened the week with 10 kills on .714 hitting in a sweep of Dean, followed by 20 kills and eight digs in a sweep at Bard, before finishing with 19 kills and seven blocks in a five-set battle at Nichols.
Defensive Player Of The Week
Brandon Valdes, Regis (Jr.)
Junior Brandon Valdes helped lead the Pride to a 3-0 week with strong defensive play, totaling 19 digs (2.11 per set) while handling 30 receptions without an error. He recorded four digs and a block against American International, followed by 11 digs and 13 receptions in the first match at Vermont State Johnson, before adding four more digs and nine receptions in the second match of the doubleheader.
Setter Of The Week
Evan Shank, Regis (Jr.)
Junior Evan Shank totaled 72 assists (9.00 per set) in a 3-0 week for the Pride, highlighted by a 38-assist performance against American International where he surpassed the 2,000-career assist mark. He followed with 23 and 11 assists in wins over Vermont State Johnson, adding 16 digs and eight service aces across the doubleheader while helping guide the offense in all three victories.
Rookie Of The Week
Joe Culhane, Elms (Fr.)
Freshman Joe Culhane delivered a strong offensive performance with 16 kills (5.33 per set) on .353 hitting in a match at Rivier. He added a service ace, four digs, and two blocks while totaling 18.5 points and handling 16 receptions.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Tye Barrett, Emmanuel - Barrett totaled 81 assists (8.1 per set), including 34 in a sweep over Bard College. He also had six blocks and 17 digs on the week for the Saints.
Chris Bousquet, Elms - Bousquet totaled 16 digs against Rivier, averaging 5.33 per set.
John Nangle, Regis - Nangle totaled 25 kills (2.5 k/s) at a .500 clip in a 3-0 week for the Pride, where he also landed six total blocks to help him to 32.5 points (3.3 pts./s) on the week. He opened the week with 11 kills, connecting on .667 of his attacks, to go with three blocks and 14 total points in a three set sweep. He then had 10 and four kills, respectively, in a doubleheader against Vermont State Johnson. In game one he totaled 12.5 points to go with two blocks and six digs. He followed it up with four kills in a three-set sweep.
Tyler Dickinson, Rivier - Dickinson recorded 14 kills (2.00 k/s), a .306 hitting percentage, 19.5 pts, and eight total blocks. Recorded five kills against and five total blocks Endicott. Added nine kills (3.00 k/s) and a .421 hitting percentage along with two solo blocks and a block assist in the sweep over Elms.
Brayden Green, Wentworth - Green totaled 44 assists (11.00 per set) in a four set victory over #13 ranked MIT.
Eli Turner, Wentworth - Turner averaged 4 kills per set (16 total) in a four-set win over MIT.
