OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Michael Shelley, Emmanuel (Jr., OH) Junior Outside Hitter Michael Shelley was aggressive at the net for the Saints in a 3-2 week for Emmanuel as the San Francisco, California native registered 95 total kills (.303%) on a whopping five kills per set, collecting 20+ kills in each of the three Emmanuel victories on the week. Shelley started the week in a conference road victory over Regis, collecting 22 kills, four service aces, and five total blocks while playing in four of the five sets. He put up 10 kills and five digs in a setback to no. 20 nationally-ranked Misericordia before bouncing back with a 21 kill, eight dig performance in a five-set win over Baruch on day one of the Fenway Volleyball Classic. The junior followed up on day two with 17 kills and five total blocks in a setback to no. 9 ranked Hobart but followed up with a season-high 25 kills in a four set victory over Endicott. |

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Louis Da Silva, Emmanuel (Sr., MB) Senior Middle Blocker Louis Da Silva once again had an instrumental week on the defensive side of the net for the Saints in a 3-2 week, averaging 1.3 blocks per set (26 total). The Marseille, France native set a single-match program record 13 total blocks in a five-set thrilling victory over Regis. Da Silva followed up at the Fenway Classic with 13 more total blocks across all four matches for Emmanuel. |

SETTER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jehuda Tawalujan, Emmanuel (Fr., S) First-year setter Jehuda Tawalujan put up tremendous numbers, feeding the offensive attack in five matches for the Saints this week. The Dover, N.H. native registered a total of 161 assists across these five matches, registering a 8.9 assists per set average, and reaching 30+ assists in two matches. Tawalujan set a career-high 43 assists in a five set thrilling victory over Regis while collecting four total blocks before collecting 11 assists in two sets in their set back to no. 20 Misericordia and 35 in four sets in a five set victory over Baruch. The first-year finished his week strong with 18 assists over no.9 Hobart before setting a new career-high with 54 assists in a four set victory over Endicott. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Al Sánchez, Elms - Collected 13 kills and 20 digs (2.86 d/s) total in seven sets in a 2-0 week for the Blazers.
Theo Zaharewicz, Lasell - Collected 28 kills (4.67 k/s) on .404% across six sets along with 12 digs in two Lasell sweeps on the week.
Trystan Maloney, Lasell - Collected 64 assists (10.67 a/s) in two Laser sweeps. Had 10 digs and six blocks total as well.
Mekhi Burns, Wentworth - Was named the Fenway Volleyball Classic's Most Vaulable Player, registering 26 digs across four winning matches (2.36 d/s) including 10 against no. 9 nationally-ranked Hobart and 12 over no. 20 Misericordia.
Josh Milke, Wentworth - Was named to the Fenway Volleyball Classic All-Tournament team after dishing out 104 assists (8.00 a/s) across four matches, reaching 20+ assists in all of them. Had 17 digs as well for the Leopards.
Jacob Waga, Wentworth - Registered 38 kills (3.80 k/s) across three matches, reaching double-digits in all three. Collected 12 against Endicott, 16 against Hobart, and 10 against Misericordia. Posted seven blocks total as well on the week.
