MEN’S VOLLEYBALL: Wentworth’s LaBouliere Repeats as Offensive Player of the Year; All-Conference Teams Announced

LaBouliere Leads the league
in kills and points
WINTHROP, Mass. – Fresh off earning his second-straight GNAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player honor on Saturday for helping No. 12 Wentworth win the 2023 GNAC Championship, Jacob LaBouliere was announced as the 2023 GNAC Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Year.
It is the second-consecutive year that LaBouliere has earned the league's top offensive honor, which was voted on by the league's nine head coaches along with the rest of the All-Conference selections.
He leads the league in total kills at 305 despite playing in only 19 of the Leopards' 33 matches. He is averaging 4.77 kills per set and is hitting at .460 clip. He is also ninth in solo blocks with 11.
Joining LaBouliere on the All-GNAC First Team was his teammate, Hunter Oshman.
Three other major award winners also found themselves on the All-GNAC First Team. Included in that group were 2023 GNAC Defensive Player of the Year Neiko Pittman from Emerson, Libero of the Year Marcello Cappuccio from Regis, and Setter of the Year Jesus Garcia from Lasell.
The rest of the First Team featured Lasell's Brenden Joyce, Regis' Joseph Perez, and Rivier's Sokunbuth Ly.
Brayden Green from Wentworth took home the top first-year honor as Rookie of the Year and Emmanuel head coach was voted Coach of the Year by his peers Bori May.
