Track Athlete Of The Week
Cameren Candelaria, Lasell (So.)
Sophomore Cameren Candelaria was the winner of the 100m and 200m at Gordon's Jon Tymann Invite as his 11.27 time in the 100m is the top time in the league, and 22.79 in the 200m was an outdoor Personal-Best and is the second best time in GNAC this season.
Field Athlete Of The Week
Ryan Sweeney, Regis (Jr.)
Junior Ryan Sweeney placed 11th overall in the shot put invitational with a throw of 11.57 meters. Sweeney also impressed in the hammer throw, finishing fifth with a personal-best mark of 38.28 meters. Both marks place him atop the GNAC Leaderboards.
Rookie Of The Week
Caleb Ruch, Lasell (Fr.)
Freshman Caleb Ruch turned in a standout week in the middle-distance events, recording the GNAC’s top 800m time at 2:04.22 while also placing second in the conference in the 1500m at 4:14.84. He finished fourth overall in the 800 and second overall in the 1500 at the meet.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Matthew Gaudioso, Colby-Sawyer - Gaudioso had an impressive weekend at the SNHU Spring Invitational, finishing in the top ten of all three events just behind schools from Division II. Matt would set a new personal best in pole vault with a 2.90m jump before throwing 11.26m in shot put. He would finish the day with a 33.16m throw in discus to finish 7th, 7th, and 10th respectively.
Nathan Morgan, Emmanuel- Morgan finished fifth in the 400m at 52.48 in the SNHU Invitational, which leads the conference. Morgan also fifth in the 400 hurdles at 1:02.73, which makes him third in the conference.
Matthew Corriveau, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Corriveau delivered one of the top performances of the meet for Saint Joseph’s by winning the long jump with a mark of 6.55m (21' 6"). He now leads the conference in the Long Jump.
Isaac Keresey, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Keresey produced a standout all-around day on the track, highlighted by a runner-up finish and DIII New England provisional qualifying time of 56.89 in the 400-meter hurdles. He also added a fifth-place finish in the 1500 meters in 4:09.79, making him one of the team’s top point-producing and most versatile performers of the meet. Keresey now leads the conference in the 1500 and the 400H.
