Track Athlete Of The Week
Aiden Mitchell, Lasell (So.)
Sophomore Aiden Mitchell finished fourth in finals of the 55m with a time of 6.78 seconds, which ranks him third in the GNAC when converting to 60m. Mitchell also finished seventh in the 200m with the fastest time in the GNAC so far this year, running 24.14.
Field Athlete Of The Week
Justin Thuotte, Regis (Sr.)
Senior Justin Thuotte turned in a standout performance at the Wesleyan Winter Invitational, claiming a top finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.70 meters to set a new indoor program record, beating his own previous mark of 6.65 set at the last meet. He also placed third in the triple jump at 12.99 meters and rounded out his day with a 10th-place finish in the weight throw, posting a personal-best mark of 13.59 meters.
Rookie Of The Week
Sharif Robinson Jr, Emmanuel (Fr.)
Freshman Sharif Robinson placed second in the Long Jump at the USM Open II with 6.31 meters.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Jahan Puryear, Emmanuel - Finished fifth in the 800 meters at the USM Open II with a 2:10.55 time.
Nathaniel Gonzalez, Lasell - Posted a second place finish in the high jump at USM at 1.84 meters.
