MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE & ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Tim Barry, Suffolk (So., Westborough, Mass.) - Barry earned his spot at New Englands over the weekend at the Wheaton Pre-Post Season Invite. Barry cruised to a 4:19.86 mile to not only top the 17-runner field, but to seal the sophomore's ticket to NCAA Division III Regionals. |

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Erin Kelley, Regis (Sr., Stoneham, Mass.) - Kelley broke her own school record in the 3000 meter run at the 2022 USATF New England Masters and Open Indoor Track and Field Championships Sunday at the Providence Career and Technical Academy. Kelley finished first in the 3000 meter run with a time of 10:51.84, over 13 seconds faster than the previous school record mark of 11:05.29 she established at the Middlebury Winterfell Jan. 22. It is also close to 30 seconds quicker than the time Kelley posted in winning the 3000 meter run at the 2022 GNAC Indoor Track and Field Championships one week ago. |

MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Michael Balestra, Suffolk (Sr., Lincoln, R.I.) - Balestra shined in the weight throw at Wheaton's Pre-Post Season Invitational as his 14.15-meter toss was good to take first in the 10-competitor field. |

WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE / ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Caitlyn Filloramo, Suffolk (Fr., Southport, Conn.) - Filloramo was the only Suffolk field athlete to participate at Wheaton's Pre-Post Season Invite. The Southport, Connecticut native won the weight throw. She topped the 11-person field with a 12.25-meter toss. In the shot put, she finished 15th behind an 8.24-meter throw. |
GNAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Ben Abely, Lasell (Jr., Stonington, Conn.) - Abely of the Lasell University men's indoor track & field team finished fourth out of 15 in the finals of the 60-meter dash (7.41) and tallied a flat track personal record of 24.03 during a fifth-place performance out of 15 in the finals of the 200 meters Saturday at the Wheaton College Invitational.
Michael Carroll, Regis (Jr., Lynn, Mass.) - Carroll finished in fourth place overall in the 800 meter run Sunday at the 2022 USATF New England Masters and Open Indoor Track and Field Championships in Providence, R.I. Carroll posted a time of 2:10.63 just one week after earning All-GNAC honors in the same event at the GNAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Nicholas Pastore, Regis (Sr., Norwood, Mass.) - Sunday at the 2022 USATF New England Masters and Open Indoor Track and Field Championships held at the Providence Career and Technical Academy, Nicholas Pastore finished in second place in the long jump with a top leap of 5.82 meters (19' 1"). This comes one week after he earned All-GNAC honors in the long jump for the second time in his career
