Swimmer Of The Week
Kristian Adlianitski, Norwich (Jr.)
Junior Kristian Adlianitski turned in a strong sprint and individual medley performance to help Norwich earn a decisive 130-50 Senior Day win over Plymouth State. The junior notched two individual victories, taking first in the 100-yard freestyle (48.62) and the 100-yard individual medley (54.12). He also anchored the Cadets’ winning 400-yard medley relay, contributing to one of 14 Norwich event wins on the day.
Diver Of The Week
Henry Pennell, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Fr.)
Freshman Henry Pennell continued his strong rookie campaign on the diving board for the Blue Jays, opening USJ's dual meet this past Saturday (1/17) versus Eastern Connecticut with a score of 137.25 in the one-meter five-dive event. He followed that performance by breaking both the school’s freshman and varsity program records in the one-meter dive, finishing with an impressive score of 190.30 in the six-dive event.
Rookie Of The Week
Max Ansell, Norwich (Fr.)
Freshman Max Ansell posted a pair of breaststroke victories to help Norwich top Plymouth State, 130-50, on Senior Day. Ansell took first in both the 50-yard breaststroke (29.50) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:25.67), while also swimming the second leg on the Cadets’ winning 200-yard freestyle relay. His consistency across stroke and relay events highlighted Norwich’s depth and continued dual meet dominance.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Drew Bylow, Norwich - Bylow delivered another dominant all-around effort to help Norwich sweep all 14 events they entered in a 130-50 Senior Day victory over Plymouth State. The sophomore captured individual wins in the 200-yard backstroke (2:00.16) and 50-yard butterfly (23.96), while also leading off the Cadets’ winning 400-yard medley relay and swimming the opening leg of the victorious 200-yard freestyle relay. His versatility across strokes and relay impact played a central role in Norwich’s continued dual meet success.
Ryan Kim, Regis - Kim claimed the top spot in the 500 freestyle, posting a time of 5:23.64 to record the Pride's fastest mark of the season and edging his Albertus competitor by just over 45 seconds.
Aiden Hebb, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Hebb delivered a standout weekend in the pool as the Blue Jays hosted Eastern Connecticut in a dual meet this past Saturday (1/17). Individually, Hebb claimed first place in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.29), 200-yard breaststroke (2:16.27), and 100-yard IM (56.71). He also helped guide his team to a third-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay (2:12.08), swimming the breaststroke leg of the event.
