Swimmer Of The Week
Drew Bylow, Norwich (So.)
Sophomore Drew Bylow delivered a standout all-around performance to help Norwich open the 2026 calendar year with a dominant 194.5–82.5 dual-meet victory over Keene State College. The sophomore swept both backstroke events, winning the 100-yard backstroke in 55.29 and the 200-yard backstroke in 2:02.66, before capping the afternoon with a victory in the 200-yard individual medley (2:05.62). Bylow also contributed to Norwich’s opening win in the 200-yard medley relay, helping the Cadets claim first place in all 14 events they entered.
Diver Of The Week
Henry Pennell, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Fr.)
Freshman Henry Pennell turned in a stellar performance on the board this weekend at Clark, earning first-place finishes in both diving events. He captured the men’s 1-meter dive with a score of 179.85 and followed with another victory in the 3-meter event, totaling 158.90 points.
Rookie Of The Week
Max Ansell, Norwich (Fr.)
Freshman Max Ansell made an immediate impact in Norwich’s decisive road win at Keene State, earning an individual victory in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:29.04. Ansell also added a third-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:59.21) and contributed to the Cadets’ winning 400-yard freestyle relay. He additionally swam on Norwich’s B relay team in the 200-yard medley relay, helping the Cadets dominate the podium in the event.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Kristian Adlianitski, Norwich - Kristian Adlianitski turned in a strong sprint and breaststroke showing in Norwich’s sweep at Keene State, capturing wins in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.59) and the 100-yard freestyle (50.89). He also swam on both winning relay squads, including leading off the 400-yard freestyle relay as the Cadets claimed first place in every event contested.
Aiden Hebb, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Hebb turned in another impressive performance this past Saturday as the Blue Jays competed in their first meet of 2026, narrowly falling on the road to Clark, 119-118. Hebb recorded three individual victories on the day, claiming the gold in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.46), 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.26), and 200-yard IM (2:08.18). He also contributed to his team’s first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay, swimming a 30.76 breaststroke split, as the team finished with a combined time of 1:47.36.
