Player Of The Week
Lorenzo Lauria, Albertus Magnus (Jr.)
Junior Lorenzo Lauria forward delivered a breakout performance in conference play, netting a hat trick to lead his team to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Saint Joseph’s (Maine). He was the driving force behind the offense, including the dramatic game-winner in the 82nd minute. Efficient and composed in front of goal, he converted half of his six shots while energizing his squad to a key GNAC win.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Jake Godwin, Dean College (Sr.)
The senior goalkeeper, Jake Godwin, anchored his team to a strong week between the posts, recording 10 saves over two starts and earning his first shutout of the season. He was stellar in a 5-0 GNAC victory over Lasell, stopping all five shots she faced to secure the clean sheet.
Rookie Of The Week
Lucas Sedas, Rivier (Fr.)
Freshman Lucas Sedas made an immediate impact by recording a six-save shutout in a 0-0 draw against Keene State. The first-year keeper showed poise and control in goal, stopping every shot he faced to post a perfect 1.000 save percentage and a 0.00 goals-against average over 90 minutes of action.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Jacobo Molina Ferrer, Elms - Ferrer had seven points across two conference games, tallying two goals and three assists on the week. The standout performance came in a 4-2 win over Mitchell, where he contributed to all four scores with one goal and a career-best three assists. He followed that effort with another goal in a 3-1 battle at Norwich.
Noel Huliselan, New England College - Huliselan played a key role in NEC’s unbeaten conference week, totaling four points across two matches. The junior opened the week with a goal against Colby-Sawyer before turning playmaker in Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Mitchell, assisting on both goals.
Eddy Nyemah, New England College - Nyemah was instrumental in NEC’s 2-2 draw against Colby-Sawyer, scoring one goal and assisting on the other. The dynamic playmaker generated three points in the match, directly contributing to both goals in the conference showdown.
Diego Fuentes, Norwich - Fuentes was instrumental in powering the Cadets to a strong 1-0-1 conference week, netting both of Norwich’s goals. The junior delivered in the clutch on Oct. 1, scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Emmanuel. He followed that up with a composed finish from the penalty spot against Elms on Oct. 4, which stood as the game-winner in a 3-1 victory.
Juan Pablo Chavarria, Regis - Chavarria made his mark in memorable fashion, scoring his first collegiate goal to lift his team to a 1-0 conference win over Albertus Magnus. The freshman struck a stunning game-winner from outside the 18, curling a powerful shot into the top right corner.
Logan Clough, Rivier - Clough was outstanding in goal for the team this week, recording six saves in a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Saint Joseph (Conn.). His strong performance between the posts, highlighted by a .750 save percentage, was key in helping the team secure a point on the road.
Alejandro Quezada, Rivier- Quezada played a crucial role in securing a point for the team this week, scoring the game-tying goal in a 2-2 draw against Saint Joseph (Conn.). Across two matches, he totaled one goal, two points, and had a solid shooting performance, helping the team remain competitive and contribute to the comeback effort.
