Player Of The Week
Marcus Burrows, Albertus Magnus (So.)
Sophomore Marcus Burrows scored 10 goals and added three assists with six ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. The sophomore midfielder netted seven goals against St. Joseph's (LI), scoring the last three goals in a fourth quarter comeback win. Burrows followed with a hat trick and three assists against Elms.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Noah Isleib, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Jr.)
Junior Noah Isleib backstopped 14 shots (66.7%) for the Blue Jays in a 14-7 conference victory over Norwich.
Rookie Of The Week
Henri Brochu, Rivier (Fr.)
Freshman Henri Brochu recorded four points (first collegiate points) on two goals and two assists in the 16-9 win over Dean. He added a 71.4% shots on goal percentage.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Cooper Strecker, Albertus Magnus - Strecker collected nine points, including five goals and four assists in win over Elms. He added two more in win over SJLI.
Colin LeBaron, Lasell - LeBaron had nine goals in a 1-1 week as he posted a new career best performance of eight goals in win over Gordon, and is now tied for second place in program history for goals in a single game.
Mason Dils, Norwich - Dils anchored the Norwich defense during a 1-1 week, recording 26 saves across two starts while playing 119 minutes between the pipes. The junior goalkeeper turned in one of the strongest performances of his career in a 13-4 victory over Vermont State University Castleton, stopping 17 shots while allowing just four goals across nearly 60 minutes of action. Dils followed with nine saves in Norwich’s GNAC opener at the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), finishing the week with a .578 save percentage and a 9.55 goals-against average.
Jake Marcotte, Norwich - Marcotte paced the Norwich offense during a 1-1 week, totaling 10 points on five goals and five assists across two contests. The senior attacker recorded a six-point performance in the Cadets’ 13-4 victory over intrastate rival Vermont State University Castleton in the Connor Roberts Memorial Game, finishing with three goals and three assists while helping Norwich secure its first win of the season. He followed with another strong outing in Norwich’s GNAC opener at the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), tallying four points on two goals and two assists.
Devin Hammon, Regis - Hammon remained undefeated on the season this past weekend, saving 12 shots (63.2%) in a 12-7 victory in conference action over NEC.
Aiden Conley, Rivier - Conley recorded a career day in the 16-9 win over Dean. His seven points, five goals (one of which was man down), and two assists are all career bests. He added five ground balls and a 87.5% shots on goal percentage.
Jake Lydon, Rivier - Lydon improved to 3-0 and recorded 15 saves (62.5 sv%) in the 16-9 win the Raiders' GNAC opener against Dean.
Nicholas Michaud, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Michaud totaled seven points in 28-1 victory over Mitchell, scoring five and helping on two. He collected four ground balls as well.
Nick Pestrichello, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Pestrichello posted a dominating performance during the Blue Jay's 15-7 win over Norwich, tallying eight points off six goals and two assists. Recorded a 69.2 shot on goal percentage while also grabbing two ground balls.
