GNAC Men's Lacrosse Report: Week 7
Norwich's Parker Campbell earned his third weekly honor of the season, registering a 12-point week which included an overtime game-winner on the road.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Parker Campbell, Norwich (Sr., A - Rockaway, N.J.) - Campbell scored the game-winner in the Cadets' 15-14 overtime victory at Rivier, registering three points in Norwich's come-from-behind win. Campbell also totaled nine points on Saturday against Regis with three goals and six assists. Campbell picked up six ground balls and had 12 points with four goals and eight assists on the week.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Alexander Govoni, Dean (Sr, GK - Lakeville, Mass.) - Govoni earned a pair of win in net for the Bulldogs last week. In a 17-2 road win at Thomas, Govoni worked the first half and made four saves without allowing a goal. The senior keeper ended the week with 57 minutes of action with four goals allowed and 10 saves in the team's 13-4 GNAC win over Emmanuel. For the week, Govoni posted a 2.35 GAA and a 77.8 save percentage.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Evan Zimnoch, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Fr., A - Southington, Conn.) - The first-year totaled five goals on six shots on goal to go with three ground balls in setbacks on the road at Emmanuel and at home against Rivier. He poured in four of the five tallies versus the Raiders.

GNAC HONOR ROLL
Nick Massaro, Anna Maria (Sr., A - West Haven, Conn.) - Massaro had a banner week for the AMCATS, totaling five goals, eight assists and 10 ground balls as Anna Maria went 1-1. The senior set the AMCAT record for career assists during their 15-5 win at Regis, tallying six dimes in that contest.
Tyler Benedetto, Dean (So, C - Jupiter, Fla.) - Benedetto continued his dominance in the faceoff circle by winning 34-of-37 and picked up a team best 22 ground balls in a 2-0 week for the Bulldogs. He began the week with a 14-for-16 effort in a 17-2 road win at Thomas. The conference's leading faceoff player ended the week with a 20-for-21 showing with a goal in a 13-4 victory over Emmanuel. Benedetto also led each game in ground balls with eight and 14, respectively. He currently ranks fourth in the nation in faceoff percentage.

Joe McIntyre, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Sr., M) - In two victories this week, Joe McIntyre totaled eight goals and one assists for nine points, while grabbing eight ground balls. McIntyre scored four goals in a 20-5 victory over Albertus Magnus before scoring four in an 11-8 victory over Anna Maria, helping the Wildcats to a pair of GNAC wins. McIntyre also had two caused turnovers.
Landon Reyes, Lasell (Junior, Attack - Westfield, Mass.) - Reyes had three goals in a 10-6 home win over Saint Joseph's of Maine last Wednesday.
Ryan Paltauf, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., A - Southbury, Conn.) - Paltauf had two goals and 10 assists in setbacks against Emmanuel and Rivier.
Michael Ference, Rivier (So., A - Salem, NH) - Ference continues to run the Raiders offense seemingly being able to score at will. In two games last week he finished with seven goals and five assists for 12 total points. His best game was against Norwich with five goals and two assists.
Samuel Tibbetts, Rivier (Fr., G - Gray, Maine) - This weekend, Tibbetts got his first college start in net for the Raiders, also picking up his first win! He played all 60 minutes for Rivier. He finished the contest with a 64 save percentage and 18 saves.
