Lasell, Mount Ida Earn 2017 GNAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament First-Round Byes
Lasell and Mount Ida will be the top-two seeds in next week's GNAC Tournament, while No. 3 JWU and No. 4 Norwich will host first-round games on Tuesday.

WINTHROP, Mass. – Lasell College has captured the 2017 GNAC Men's Lacrosse regular-season title with an umblemished 8-0 mark to receive the No. 1 seed in next week's conference tournament. The Lasers and second-seeded Mount Ida College (7-1) have earned first-round byes into next Thursday's semifinals.
In Tuesday's first-round tourney action, fourth-seeded Norwich University will welcome fifth-seeded Emmanuel College (7:00 PM) and third-seeded Johnson & Wales University will host sixth-seeded Rivier University (4:00 PM).
The EC/Norwich winner will travel to Lasell Thursday at 3:30 PM, while Mount Ida will await the Riv/JWU winner Thursday at 6:00 PM.
First Round - Tuesday, May 2
Game 1: #5 Emmanuel at #4 Norwich - 7:00 PM
Game 2: #6 Rivier at #3 JWU - 4:00 PM
Semifinals - Thursday, May 4
Game 3: Game 1 winner at #1 Lasell - 3:30 PM
Game 4: Game 2 winner at #2 Mount Ida - 6:00 PM
Championship - Saturday, May 6
Game 5: Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner
