Golfer Of The Week
Graham Hassan, New England College (Sr.)
Senior Graham Hassan had a big week as he led NEC to a first-place finish at the Keene State Invitational on Thursday, scoring a 74 (+3) to finish tied for second place overall. He continued his strong play to Saturday where he bested Norwich's Cooper Bertrand in match play, finishing 1-up.
Rookie Of The Week
Emil Elias, New England College (Fr.)
First-year Emil Elias tied for fourth at the Keene State Invitational after posting a career-best 75 (+4) on Thursday, helping the Pilgrims to a first-place team finish. The freshman also played well on Saturday against Norwich in match play, defeating the Cadets' four by a four-hole margin.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Cooper Bertrand, Norwich - Had another high finish at the Keene State Invitational this week, earning a tie for second at +3 and dueled with NEC's Graham Hassan in Match Play.
Jason Curran, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Finished third and led the Monks with a 75 (+3), going out in 38 and coming in at 37 for the team's lowest score at the UMaine-Presque Isle Invitational on Thursday.
