Last year's GNAC Men's Golf Player and Rookie of the Year Drew Mathieu claimed his second straight weekly cccolade on Monday for the Monks.

GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Drew Mathieu, Saint Joseph's of Maine (So., Windham, Maine.) - Mathieu tied for first with a 77 card and posted the lowest round score - an even par 36 on the front nine - of any player in the Monks' annually hosted tournament at Spring Meadows Golf Club on Thursday.
 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK


Shamar Wilson, Albertus Magnus (Fr., Montego Bay, Jamaica) - Wilson had an outstanding collegiate debut at the Mitchell Invite I on Wednesday, when he placed second in a 20-person field. The freshman carded an even-par 71 in his first collegiate round, shooting a 36 on the front nine and 35 on the back
