Offensive Player Of The Week
Brooke Farquhar, Colby-Sawyer (So.)
Sophomore Brooke Farquhar led the Chargers to two big conference wins this week to keep Colby-Sawyer unbeaten within the GNAC. She scored two goals and provided an assist against Lasell on nine shots and seven on net. Brooke followed that up with a 100% of shots on goal while picking up another goal and two more assists for a nine point week. She would also tie the program record for most career assists.
Defensive Player Of The Week
Sophia Quinlan, Rivier (Jr.)
Junior Sophia Quinlan recorded three defensive saves in a 1-1 GNAC week for the Raiders. Quinlan had a key defensive save in the second quarter to keep Rivier up one in their win against Regis and added two more defensive saves against Saint Joseph's (Maine).
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Makenzie Anderson, New England College (Sr.)
Senior Makenzie Anderson continued her stellar play with 13 saves across two games this week while allowing just one goal. She made four saves in a non-conference match-up against Plymouth State in just 30 minutes of action before collecting nine saves in a shutout win over USJ as the Pilgrims improved to 4-0 in GNAC play. Her save percentage on the week was 92.9%.
Rookie of the Week
Ava Markham, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)
Freshman Ava Markham accounted for all of SJC’s goals as she netted one and added a pair of assists in the Monks' 3-1 victory at Rivier on Saturday. Her third quarter goal proved to be the game-winner versus the Raiders.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Sara Gardner, Dean - Posted 14 Saves in 90 Minutes of action, including a 1-0 record. Collected 10 Saves in 4-2 conference win over Saint Joseph's (Maine).
Sydnee Ramos, Dean - Put up five goals and two assists across a 2-1 week. Netted two in the Bulldogs' victory over SJC and followed up with a hat trick and two assists in a win over Gordon College.
Emily Yazzetti, Dean - Put up five goals and two assists across a 2-1 week. Had a goal and assist apiece in the Bulldogs' victory over SJC and followed up with a hat trick and assist in a win over Gordon College. She finalized her week with a goal against Bridgewater State.
Brooklyn Northcutt, Lasell- Scored a hat-trick in an overtime setback against Colby-Sawyer and followed with a hat-trick and an assist in a victory over Elms.
Kennedy Overhoff, New England College - Had a strong week on the defensive end, disrupting and stopping penalty corners as the team's fly. Overhoff made some key stops on fast breaks in both their non-conference matchup against Plymouth State on Wednesday and their 2-0 conference win over USJ on Saturday.
Lily Gifford, Rivier - Totaled 12 saves with a .750 save percentage in the 1-1 GNAC week for the Raiders. Saved three shots in the 2-1 win over Regis and added nine to her total for the week against SJC.
Clio Cook-Sharp, Simmons - Recorded her first collegiate goal in a win against Albertus Magnus. Additionally, in the same game, Cook-Sharp earned her first hat-trick.
Penelope Long, Simmons - She scored twice in a win over Albertus Magnus and added an assist vs. Colby-Sawyer while leading a Sharks defense that gave up 1.5 goals per game.
