Nine GNAC Field Hockey Student-Athletes Recognized as NFHCA All-Region Honorees
GENEVA, N.Y. – Nine Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) field hockey student-athletes were honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as All-Region honorees sponsored by The LineUp.
Five of the honorees received First Team All-Region I honors, including GNAC Offensive Player of the Year Abbey Playle from Lasell. Joining her on the NFHCA All-Region First Team were her teammate Sheridan Blaha, Johnson & Wales’ Margaret Johnson, Colby-Sawyer’s Aleah Murph, and Simmons’ Anna Tedeschi.
Tedeschi’s Simmons teammate Sydney Gonyea was one of four GNAC student-athletes to garner All-Region I Second Team honors. Also selected to the Second Team were the New England College trio of Taylor Bailey, Drea Chin, and Mikayla Vincent.
