Saint Joseph's (ME) Field Hockey's Hendrix Named ECAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Monks senior Theresa Hendrix was recognized by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), it was announced on Wednesday.

WINTHROP, Mass. – Saint Joseph's College of Maine senior Theresa Hendrix has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Field Hockey Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Hendrix, named the GNAC Player of the Week on Monday, led the Monks to a 3-0 week with two goals and three assists for seven total points. She assisted on a pair of goals in a 4-0 win over Salem State last Tuesday, and was credited with a helper on the team’s lone goal in a 1-0 victory over Southern Maine last Thursday. The senior midfielder then scored both goals in a 2-0 triumph over Lasell this past weekend on Saturday.
On the year, Hendrix is second on the Monks with 14 points on four goals and six assists, while her six helpers ranks first among GNAC leaders.
Founded in 1995, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) is an NCAA Division III association made up of 12 member institutions and over 3,000 student-athletes across the New England region. Each year, the GNAC sponsors and administers 17 championships, while balancing academic integrity, athletic opportunity and community involvement.
