PLAYER OF THE WEEK Brady Philibotte, New England College (Jr., INF) Junior infielder Brady Philibotte played in six games this week for New England College and had multiple hits in five of them, helping him earn a .565/.577/.826 slash line. He had 13 hits for the week, including six doubles. He opened the week with a three-hit game against Elms in which he also scored three runs and drove in two. He then had a 2-for-3 performance with two doubles in a non-conference contest against Keene State. He wrapped up the week with a pair of GNAC doubleheaders against Saint Joseph’s (Maine) and Rivier. Against the Monks, Philibotte collected a two-hit game in the backend of the twin bill before going 6-for-8 against Rivier. He had two runs scored and three RBI in the double dip with the Raiders. For the week, he scored seven times and drove in six. |

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Aidan Vining, Johnson & Wales (So., P) Sophomore pitcher Aidan Vining earned a seven-inning complete-game shutout for Johnson & Wales this week. He scattered four hits against Lasell in the outing and did not walk a batter. He also had seven strikeouts on the day. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Sebastien Reis, Rivier (Fy., INF) First-year infielder Sebastien Reis had hits in all five contests he played in for Rivier this week with four extra-base hits, including three home runs. Reis also had at least one RBI in every game and crossed the plate in all but one. He began the week with a 1-for-2 game against Mitchell, while also collecting a run batted in. He had a hit, a run scored, and an RBI in each game against the Colby-Sawyer, including his first long bomb of the week in game one. In the final doubleheader of the regular season, he went 5-for-9 against New England College. He had a home run in each end of the twin bill and finished the week with six runs and 10 RBI in total. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Troy Piascik, Albertus Magnus - Produced a .440/.464/.560 slash line hitting safely in all six games he played in this week. Scored four runs and collected four RBI for the Falcons.
Andrew Denison, Anna Maria - Had hits in all six games for Anna Maria this week, contributing to a .435/.458/.478 slash line. Crossed the plate five times during the week and stole seven bases.
Owen Sullivan, Anna Maria - Threw 9 1/3 innings this week, picking up a shutout victory against Albertus Magnus. Allowed nine hits and three walks during the week and struck out 12.
Jack Mullen, Colby-Sawyer - Was masterful out of the bullpen this week, tossing 4 1/3 innings without allowing a hit. Allowed just one walk in three outings, while striking out five.
Cole Lalli, Mitchell - Slashed .500/.480/.780 for the week with four mult-hit games. Produced three extra-base hits with two doubles and a home run. Scored four times and drove in nine for the week.
Luis Colon, Rivier - Batted .667/.700/.833 this week with a ton of run production in four games. Scored at least one run in each contest and had RBI in three of four. Totaled six runs and seven RBI on the week.
Matthew Bergeron, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Made two starts and picked up two wins for the Monks. Tossed 15 2/3 innings, allowing three earned runs and striking out 14. Went the distance against Norwich for a nine-inning complete-game victory.
Jared Wilhelm, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Hit safely in eight straight contests for Saint Joseph's (Maine), posting a .438/.457/.656 slash line. Scored six runs and drove in eight in eight contests, including two home runs.
Luke Fox, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Earned a win and a save out of the bullpen. Did not allow a run in six innings of work, spread across two outings. Struck oout nine batters on the week, while walking none.
