Player of the Week
Alex Lorenc (Nanuet, N.Y.), Junior, Outfielder, Saint Joseph's College (ME)
Lorenc is off to a hot start to his junior season, as the third-year starter is batting .667 (8-12) with a run, a double and seven RBI during the Monks' 4-0 start to the 2013 campaign. Lorenc opened the year by going 6-8 with a run, a two-bagger and six RBI in a twin-bill sweep over Rhode Island College on Saturday and was 2-3 in a 1-0 triumph over Ripon College on Sunday. 

Pitcher of the Week
Chad Rafferty (Keene, N.H.), Senior, Pitcher, Saint Joseph's College (ME)
Rafferty, the reigning GNAC Pitcher of the Year, opened his season with a complete-game shutout, as the senior fanned eight while allowing five hits and no walks over seven frames in a 3-0 win over Ripon College on Sunday.

Rookie of the Week
Alex Gabler (Uniontown, Pa.) Freshman, Infielder, Suffolk University
Gabler is off to a 4-for-8 start to the season in two games for Suffolk. Gabler was 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored with 3 RBI on Sunday in a 24-6 win over Pittsburgh-Greensburg. The rookie also had a hit and a stolen base in an 8-2 win over Washington College.
